Ours has a layer of marshmallow fluff, and we put pecans in the chocolate frosting! ... it’s a brownie like rich cake that’s a chocolate lover’s dream😋 . . . I’m over my asthma attack and feeling better ... here’s the recipe: hit “Read more” and it will come up💞 I will return to tag those that reached out to me, and I want to thank Spicy Bites very much😘 MISSISSIPPI MUD/FUDGE CAKE Melt together : 2 sticks of butter or margarine 1/2 cup cocoa Combine in your mixing bowl : 2 cups of sugar 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups of flour pinch of salt Mix well and add in the cocoa and melted butter ... then mix well again! Add 1 cup of pecans to this mixture ... Grease a 9x11 rectangular glass dish ( If you’re using metal, coat with flour ) Bake at 325* degrees ... while cake is still hot add mini marshmallows OR marshmallow fluff for a thinner layer ICING : Melt 1 stick of butter or margarine ... then add 1/3 cup of milk 1teaspoon of vanilla 1/3 cup cocoa I box powdered sugar or 16 ounces = to 453 grams Mix well and add 1 cup of chopped pecans, mix again before pouring over marshmallows Allow the icing to set before cutting ... I made this today but I used the oven instead at 350 degree for almost 35 minutes . I put condensed milk, whipped cream & you can put also Philadelphia which makes it thicker & yummiest 😋...Turned out Excellent 👍🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'll definitely keep the brownie part but I think instead of the whipped cream with sugar I am going to use mascarpone with a small amount of sugar. It's just personal preference but I really strongly prefer the texture of mascarpone+the whipped cream would make the browny part sorta watery gooey if I don't inhale it immediately xD
