I am Thai, I bought one cooked pack from 7-11 store, it's our first try, my child like it very much as it's not too hot like other indian curry but I was more missing of Hyderabad recipe, it's gravy cooked with coconut and special fragrant masala, more than 20 years I still give it the best curry, even the Massaman curry, Thai chicken curry get won champion world very often but I never agree with. 👏👏👏 A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recipe! this is the best recipe for chicken tikka I have ever found. I make it over and over again. I sub the cream for dairy free options. Also, I sometimes just cook the chicken and serve it as a starter on sizzling onions and raita - I make extra chicken as it’s great in pittas, flatbreads etc., it always disappears very fast 😂 One quick question I forget to keep asking… how long can you keep the chicken in the yoghurt marinade uncooked? Must have missed this yesterday Nina. You can marinate and keep it covered in the fridge overnight. But skip the lemon juice at the time.The pieces tend to disintegrate if it’s been marinated with lemon juice for too long. Once you take it out of the fridge the next day, then add the lemon juice and allow it to come to room temperature before cooking. Merry Christmas agin Nina 😊

I really loved it! I’m wondering, how do you normally increase spice level for Indian food? Do you simply just blend chili pepper into the sauce? If it is like that, what chili pepper would you recommend to retain the authentic Indian flavor?

There are different ways it's done based on the type of curry. You can add Red Chilli Powder available in Indian stores if you want to retain the authentic Indian flavour or add some slit or chopped green chillies (serrano peppers) to increase the heat. Some recipes also use dried red chillies along with other spices or onion. I would suggest you check out our recipes and try these out. Happy Cooking Christopher 😊!!
