Yes due to media snd political propaganda some might have taken the route of extremism but most of the public is friendly and they co exist together in unity. Even during and after the elections different party supporters were mocking each other in banarasi abusive tone but that is how Banaras talks. It is always light hearted and never offensive. I am a muslim in Varanasi and I can confirm I live happily hesr without any fear.

I have visited Varanasi many times but felt like I visited today by watching your video. Beautifully written and narrated, this is the content what I expect from the food bloggers. I love Dashashvamedh ghat and have attended Aarti many times but never understood the meaning of the whole process until I saw this video.. Varanasi is an amazing place. !!! And you my friend perfectly represent, the India that loves and accepts all religions cultures and cuisines. Fun fact: Urdu originates from this area - Banares, Allahabad area. They took Hindustani and morphed it into two variations - Hindi and Urdu.
