I don't know about other states of India. But, Super rich people of Gujarat always/still prefers Rajasthan as destination wedding (and not foreign countries even if they can easily afford it) 🙂 Sintax (the biggest company in India for water tanks etc.) company's partner is my uncle. He also owns a lot of big malls all over Gujarat. He is super rich and lives in the US 5-6 months a year. I was recently in India for the cricket world cup and his son's wedding in Rajasthan. That uncle flew all his family in Business Class from various parts of India and the USA to Rajasthan and also booked their stay in luxurious Rajasthan palace hotel for 7 days. A lot of people in India don't know but Sintax is a company from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. My parents spent 3.80 Crores INR on my wedding in Ahmedabad in 2012. I am from Ahmedabad and living the USA currently.
