Oh and the part with the mum nearly shooting her daughter. They took that rather well. I barely could live with myself knowing i had nearly shot my daughter. I would have spent the rest of the movie freaking apologizing and fretting.

The spiders in this movie are definitely from another planet, they don't create silk like Earthly spiders that is strong and sticky so as to make the web sturdy and keep prey stuck so that it can stay trapped. These characters are quite un-British, propriety and efficiency are British hallmarks that none of them possess after the first 30 minutes. A pregnant woman at the point of breaking her water doesn't venture far from her home, and at the first sight of a dead body the authorities should be called.
