I love the fake out (at least I think it is) at 2:10 it starts doing that camera slowly getting into its gameplay spot to transition out of the cutscenes thing and makes you think that you will have a boss fight against Venom but Norman interrupts it and you switch over to Venom instead. I'm like 90% positive that we're going to get DLC where we play as Venom and have to fight Carnage at some point. They set up the Carnage storyline and left it at a perfect cliffhanger for DLC, Bryan Intihar has stated that Insomniac will "wait and listen to see what the fans want" when asked about Venom DLC, and this Venom gameplay is a great starting point for a full-fledged combat and traversal system. I really hope they add more moves for when you grab and pick up an enemy

Probably a dlc, with carnage I guess, venom sound dead in the end, but don't forget about Peter's symbiote that could eventually turn into a venom like (might be an anti hero variant because of Li's powers). Maybe harry still has symbiote as Peter does when it got free from the it, and could bring him back

I love how they highlight how different he is from Spider-Man by using the game's mechanics. Things like how he crashes through the vent, catches projectiles instead of dodging, and his absolutely brutal finishers. This mission is probably my favorite

My jaw dropped when the camera adjusted to third person on Venom. It was actually so goddamn fun. I only wish we could play him on free roam too, since they seem to have built a full moveset for him, with abilities, finishers, leaping. Obviously he doesn’t have swinging mechanics and his skills/moveset isn’t as in depth as the Spideys, but maybe in a dlc he could be expanded upon a bit? Hell, I’ll even take a generic horde mode where we can just rampage for the heck of it

I love this mission for so many reasons, the little throwback at 0:05 to the Dr. Octopus boss fight at the end of the first game was nice. and Venom being playable was the last thing I was expecting. One of the best missions in the game.

I hate you had to hit each guard over and over with the same combo, he feels massive but it like that’s it. Hits like a normal human when he punches them. 0:05 I love the detail of him looking at the destroyed antenna where he fought Doc Ock. He almost let what happened to Otto happen to himself, and he knows it. My only issue is that I was hoping for this parallel to be fleshed out waaaay more, and to have a much more devastating impact on Peter. I mean, this is a guy that, in the first game, almost couldn’t conceive that a good man like Otto could be hiding so much darkness. I was expecting the full realization of HIS OWN darkness to hit him much harder, instead he’s just fine and back to his usual self a minute after Miles freed him.

@@theBRANDOProductions In other media it's not really in their nature. The Klyntar symbiotes are honorable, peace seeking entities. Originally it was assumed the Klyntar were the only symbiotes, but they were retconned into being only a part of Knull's (creator of the symbiotes) army that rebelled against him and formed the Klyntar "race" to help planets by turning noble hosts into heroes. The only reason Venom turned evil was because he was corrupted by Peter "abandoning" him and Eddie Brock's hatred and need for vengeance. Klyntar symbiotes are inherently good but volatile and easily corruptible.

Harry earlier in the game says that he cant feel the heat from the factory when they went to save Tombstone. In this game they buffed Venom as fire is doing nothing to him. Only Martin Li and people who got influenced by his power can hurt Venom besides Sound.

Being An ultimate Spider-Man fan, I fell in LOVE with Venom in this game. I saw Animations inspired by U.S.M. like the backbreaker, faceplant, leap, and more. This was a love letter to the predecessor, and I with we get more with Carnage in a DLC

Yeah, like you see why Harry does it, but Eddie Brock has been the source to spider-man his hatred of peter and the spider-man is why he works so well. I get insomniac didn't want to just do the whole trying to fit Eddie into the story for him to be the real venom. but at the same time we need to see that rivalry again, the comics have made a great job evolving that to be a friendship with Eddie now being an anti-hero but in other media we still need a worthy adaption of that rivalry something that insomniac and Sony are not doing by either making venom already a hero or not eddie brock.

Unlike Harry, who in the game actually has pretty good reason for this to happen, and a connection to Peter.
