miguel is an antagonist, not an anti villain, if anything he’s an anti hero people should really expose themselves to some spidey 2099 comics or at the very least the Edge of Time spidey game, Miguel is great

I loved Miguel’s character because he’s not evil, he’s just so convinced he’s right that he can’t let miles try to oppose him. It’s really interesting because based on the information he has he’s in the right but there’s clearly more to the multiverse than he realizes because miles’ universe didn’t collapse despite him being a walking anomaly

My personal theory is that the reason he doesn't take that into consideration is because he believes that what happened with Miles being an anomaly is that he essentially swapped places with the Miles that his spider came from. If the Miles we follow hadn't gotten a spider, he would've ended up in the same place as the other one, essentially swapping the stories both universes contain, leading to neither collapsing because the canon events so far hadn't been broken for either story even if they weren't happening where they were supposed to. That being said, walking anomaly or not, Miguel still needs to limit the factors as much as possible. Miles is already walking on thin ice just by existing in Miguel's perspective, anything more could be catastrophic to the whole system, not just his own universe.

As I've been saying, Miguel is Spider-Man. He's got great power, great responsibility, and tragedy, and seeks to keep the same thing from happening to anyone else. That's Spider-Man. Miles is a bit odd because he's doing what he stopped Kingpin from doing in the first movie.

fun fact: miguel's suit was supposed to be black in the comics, it's just that the way it was drawn in the original comics it looked blue from the shadows, so they made it blue in the series movies and games he was in, if you ask me, blue is much better suited for it
