@@bugsbunnysovietico8184 Dude, both of those games still play amazing for 2022... and for back in the day, those graphics are great. They're both Metroid-vania style as a 2.5D game with as much free roam as avail. for a side scroller. The areas are huge, web slinging is fun, and they both play exactly the same. Both get 10/10 for a DS Spider-Man game no doubt. :) I still play them. I'm on my New Game + on Web of Shadows and will prob do a New Game + on Shattered Dimensions too.

Without a doubt. Ultimate isn’t nearly as deep of a game. It has nice colors and some good action but that’s all it has going for it.

The movie game on ds suck so bad. They tried so hard to be different but the gameplay is so annoying and terrible. The stylus on this game doesnt work that well.

Kinda crazy that the only games with some kind of 3D gameplay element are like Nemesis and Friend or Foe. Not even bonus stages or a hub in 3D. Even the GBA games had that. Hell GBA Spider-Man 2 had “open world” 3D hub areas where you picked missions.

they had different devs, both web of shadows and shattered dimensions were developed by griptonite games while the two after were developed by other people who tried to emulate what griptonite did but failed miserably lmao

Only those developed by Griptonite has the best combo mechanism with a bit metroidvania approach such as web of shadows and shattered dimension. i wish can play this game again natively on my DS. too bad, mine broken.
