Just a theory I want to put somewhere. Agent Venom is also a possibility for Sony. The tiny bit of symbiote that Venom left in the bar scene at the beginning was captured, and they never showed its destruction. Another bit of evidence is that army officer that kept showing up around Strickland had his legs bitten off by the xenomorph. That officer could be Flash Thompson. Again, just a theory.
