Here's a fun one I don't think you would have noticed; at the U.N, the flag they used for Ireland is not technically the Irish flag. The one used was one created in the 1600s and used up until the tricolour was adapted in the mid 1800s. It's an interesting details because it was always used by the republican (not in the American sense, republican as in opposite of unionist, 'one country to rule itself'), faction who supported a United Ireland. So maybe in the universe of the game, Northern Ireland is not in the U.K and is just part of Ireland, one country. Doubt it means anything but it's obscure enough, if you google the Irish flag, that's NOT the first thing that comes up. So presumably there's an Irish American republican (in the Irish sense of the word), who worked on the game lol

Actually the 42 is in reference to the spider that bit Miles because in the ultimate comics it was the 42nd attempt to create a genetic copy of the spider that bit Peter Parker and it had a gigantic 42 on its thorax and 42 is also a reference to the number that Miles got in the school raffle to be able to attend Brooklyn visions academy
