1:00:00 Sorry, but just wanted to explain that everyone forgets that PETER PARKER exists. Not Spider-Man. So people and heroes still know that he helped save the world against Thanos, but the heroes he met and knew him by name won’t know him as Peter only as Spider-Man. Like when Peter was talking to happy at aunt Mays grave, happy didn’t know who Peter was but he knew Spider-Man.

Well good news or good news for future that whenever they revive iron man,he will remember who Peter Parker is because he is dead when Dr.strange cast the spell so it shouldn't affect him.
@destinitra2 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t make sense cz from the get go the spell wasn’t “everyone forgets about Peter” it was “everyone forgets Peter Parker is Spiderman. The whole thing of people coming through the cracks was people who knew Peter was spidey so why would the spell do anything other than make people forget he’s Spiderman. People forgetting that Peter is Spiderman & forgetting about Peter entirely are vastly different things. Like Ned & Peter were friends before he knew Peter was Spiderman so why would him forgetting he’s spidey cause him to forget him entirely. Like if they had met because Peter was Spiderman it would make sense but not this way. They should still have gone to school together. Records of Peter must still exist because he was able to get an apartment so he must have a social security number & ID etc. Happy met May because of him but it was shown that he remembered her toward the end there I would’ve made it so he didn’t remember May as that makes more sense but with him remembering May even with him forgetting Peter is spidey he should still know Peter as May’s nephew. Like does Happy just have wrong memories about Far From Home because he should remember collecting spidey from the Netherlands he didn’t have his suit on when he picked him up. And he interacted with MJ & Ned in London does he just not remember that the whole reason he was there was to rescue spideys friends? Does he not remember those events at all? The thing is they still happened. It’s like the Avengers they had record of his name & face in their database at the start of Endgame & sure that base was blown the fuck up but I would’ve thought they’d have other records. Also when Spidey arrived through the portal & for some of the battle he didn’t have his mask on. Do the rest of the avengers just not remember that or do they remember him with his mask. Also he signed the sokovia accords so the government had his name & id on file by his superhero name also also photos & pictures. Does the spell just make people forget or does it actually wipe records & delete photos cz those things are again vastly different. Also the school had that shrine up for him as Spiderman. We know the events of NWH still happened despite the spell because JJ is talking about the Statue of Liberty event after the spell has happened. People just forgot from that point on. And talking about the Statue of Liberty event it’s noted that Spiderman was there but it’s strange that no one mentioned Dr Strange being there even though he’s a known superhero right? But I guess if it was mentioned he’d be confused as he either couldn’t remember it happening as the whole reason he was there was because of that spell or he remember being there with Spiderman but not why he was there. Another thing would Dr Strange remember there being 3 Spidermen because the amount of Spider-Mans has no gage on who Spiderman is.
@cardnal442 жыл бұрын
@@destinitra What I'm thinking is that since they know that peter is under the spider-man suit they forget those memories too, since they know it's peter it would fall under the peter parker spell because they know it's him, all the people who knew in the universe that were ever in close proximity of him knew he was spider-man before hand. For example, ned and may find out when he has his mask off, before that they haven't had a lot of experience with spider-man. Forgetting who peter is doesn't mean they forget who spider-man is obviously, they just don't know who peter is, if you said to someone "peter parker is spider-man" they'd go "who?". Even then, they probably don't even remember the name Peter Parker. For your Ned and Peter thing, it doesn't matter because if he forgets who peter parker is, he probably doesn't remember who was with him in those moments considering he (nor MJ) doesn't say anything to peter as he walks into the store.

It has a stronger impact here since we got to know Aunt May. It was very sad. 6) Andrew's Spidey overall, specially when he saves MJ. Love it! 7) I grew up with the Tobey McGuire Spidey generation and seeing him this aged made me teared up. I love his take on Peter and seeing him again and knowing he is still with MJ made me happy. 28:30 I think it's a continuation of his theme in the home trilogy, especially far from home. Like Goblin said "you want to have everything you want" he wants to be a hero, but also wants to live his teenage years as a 'normal' child too. So he keeps struggling between what he has to do and what he wants to do. It's like that moment with mysterio where he had to go beat these elementals but also wanted to enjoy his school trip with his friends. I like cohesive arcs in trilogies, it's great. But we also saw that he's not just pushed to do the right thing, he has that too in him, and yeah he does have that optimism instead of pragmatism like MJ and Doctor Strange. He said to May that it was better they'd get send back in their own universe up until he learned most of them would die immediately if they did. And then he changed his mind immediately after learning that.

I recognize that the upside down kiss is iconic, but when I found out that water kept going into Tobey's nose and he was essentially drowning and gasping for air out of the corner of his mouth that wasn't seen on camera, essentially giving Kirsten a weird pseudo cpr, it seems less sexy, they both were miserable during that scene, but they did not complain and they both liked the end result, they said nothing and powered through , I think the director was not aware of tobey upside down drowning until he mentioned it in an interview long after.

The last scene reminds us of the meaning of a traditional hero. Most people feel frustrated that heroes can't kill Villan easily and delay time, but they easily overlook the fact that heroes who make it easy are just vigilantes or heroes. In particular, the final battle scene is completely symmetrical to the captain of Iron Man, who brainwashed Spider-Man and tried to kill his aunt in order to avenge his father's murder. In addition, Spider-Man fought on the shield of Captain America, which symbolizes the protection of justice, and on the shield, Spider-Man chose forgiveness and treatment because of his responsibility as a hero rather than the punishment of the Green Goblin. It is easy to see punishment for retaliation and retaliation together, but it may be a little stuffy because it is not an easy way to choose, but it seems to emphasize the mission and responsibility of heroes who say, "Great power comes with great responsibility." Its mission and responsibility have recently been forgotten, but that's exactly what Captain America was like. That's why I used the captain's shield symbolically.

I like this review format should definitely do it again. I know Andrew Garfield's amazing Spider-Man gets a lot of negative energy. But he acted his butt off. I was sad that may passed but the part in the movie that really got me was when Andrew's Spider-Man started talking about losing Gwen. That came back and hit me immediately. And it hit hard I was borderline in tears cuz I felt so bad for him. And then all over again when he caught current Spider-Man's MJ. I knew the moment I saw him jump off that if he caught he was going to break down again. You can just see it on his face. Like the one thing he wish he could change more than anything. Excited to see miles join this spider-verse. I already know he's out there somewhere since we already met Uncle Aaron in homecoming and Ned is miles's friend originally so I'm hoping that Ned will run into miles at MIT. Haven't played the Spider-Man game was on Xbox but I do know about the organization May was working at. I know that's in the Miles Morales game. So we're getting all these hints coming together just a matter of time. It'll be great.

Tom is officially the best Spider-Man. I said it. He started off extremely mediocre, but his growth over this movie was phenomenal. Tom's performance as the world crumbled around Peter's feet was phenomenal. Peter's decisions at the end, choosing the safety and prosperity of others instead of himself was phenomenal. And Having Andrew and Tobey come in to be Uncle Ben figures for Tom's Peter was phenomenal. All of these things had to happen for me to truly appreciate this film, but holy fuck they did it. I could gush for hours about how much I loved everything in this movie. Huge props Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Fox, Marissa Tomei, Tom Hollond, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Macguire, etc for all delivering some of the most solid performances in superhero cinema. They all made this movie so great by bringing their A-games. And Charlie Cox is officially back too! So many things to be happy about!

Nah. Tom only got the surface of Spider-Man. Tobey got the surface AND the deeper meaning of Spider-Man's character.
@Kman200252 жыл бұрын
@Kunk you're going to need to provide accurate proof of this because anyone who has read the comics has always known that it took Peter forever to join the Avengers and that he refused them ans decided to be a lone wolf multiple times. It wasn't until after a decade or so of being Spiderman tha the finally gave in and became one of the team. And even when he became one of the Avengers, it took longer still for him to take his mask off and show the team who he really is, because he was so concerned about people knowing his identity and targeting Aunt May that he was reluctant to trust even other superheroes. That's how much of a lone wolf he was in the comics. He does become a team player, but it takes a helluva long time
@derderder22612 жыл бұрын
@@Kman20025 i think by comic accurate, he means his age and personality, not necessarily the plot of the movies
@vetarlittorf18072 жыл бұрын
@Kunk Uh...no. Tom is not nearly as accurate as you think. It's not until No Way Home when he starts to learn the lesson of responsibility. Up until then, being Spider-Man was motivated by the thrill of being a superhero and an Avenger, even entering the Civil War without knowing what the conflict is even about and is only in it to impress Iron Man. Whereas in the Raimi movies, Peter views his power as a burden that forces an enormous amount of responsibility on him and constantly limits his chances of having a prosperous life. That is a fundamental aspect of Spider-Man's character in the comics. Tom gets the surface of Spider-Man pretty well, most notably the energetic personality and intellect. But that's about it. The rest is an entirely new take on the character.
