@@jalap7676 I think he is acting in character, I mean in his movie he literally learns forbidden magic, and messes with the time, even if it was forbidden, this guy thinks that every idea he has is genius and always takes the risk the only difference is that this time it does not work. I guess people are thinking too much of infinity war doctor strange, but let´s be real he only looked as a responsible adult because he was next to the guardians that have no self control, a literally teenager and tony "I do as I please" stark, but his behavior in no way home is totally in character

The only villain that's gonna look significantly different is Electro, and the most realistic reason is probably because Jamie Foxx didn't want to undergo makeup again. They could easily explain it away as him honing his powers to the point where he's not blue anymore. It takes literally one line.

The spell might not be what causes the real collapse though. Strange might realize there are other things at play, such as Wanda and what Sylvie did, unraveling the multiverse. This could easily be Strange's way of fixing it.

Him being careless and doing irresponsible stuff just for fun doesn't really fit his character at this point. But this could either be because of how the writers of this movie want to write him or maybe Grace's theory might be true (which I find really plausible)

Dr Strange in this trailer surprised me as well!! The one I remember from Infinity Saga was very careful when it comes to messing up with time and multiverse. @@sandal_thong8631 (SPOILER) Basically the story is about Wanda dealing with her grief by magically ‘creating’ a whole new city with her own family in it. Then another witch, who knew what happened, tried to steal Wanda’s power but failed. Wanda took her power instead before she stopped everything and went into exile to the mountains somewhere. The story was told (and promoted) in such a way that created ripples of speculations among the fans. One of the popular theories back then was that an evil character from Marvel comic called Mephisto would be a part of it. People later found out that he didn’t. Now that theory is coming back after this trailer to haunt us. 😂 Anyway, I’m not big on speculation but it can be fun! 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was reduced to atoms, so not destroyed, also perhaps he's still searching for the stone? They could potentially be in the quantum realm for all we know. Also the eye of agamotto just as an artifact in itself is a significant part of his costume with or without the stone. I don't think it's evil Dr strange like people are theorising. He's just pissed at Peter for stealing something from the sanctum.

Doc Ock needs Sunglasses for his eye sensitivity, due to his accident. This was the case in the comics too I beleive. so the sunglasses are just staying true to the character. While he would've worn something more akin to tight fitting shaded goggles, these are close enough.

Re: Doctor Strange, I think he's still himself. During Infinity War, he went AHEAD to witness all possible outcomes. Now, he may be finding a dimension that had branched off in IN THE PAST, where Peter's identity hasn't been leaked. From the trailer, it does look like Strange had 2 strands of dimensions, and he was trying to surture both of them together. I think this is like R&M's Vat of Acid episode: There are no do-overs. Not without consequences.

@@ShayneRawls I don't think so bcoz now in multiverse things will be a bit complex no matter how watered down Kevin would want em to be ..also, Strange has been pretty strict about rules till now in MCU..he was ready to sacrifice Tony and Peter for time stone without hesitation.. he looks so out of character here because he's reckless.. the Dr strange that MCU has set up till date hasn't had any major such character changing arc.. I believe this will be the Evil version of doc Strange from What if?.. taking control of the real Strange here in this reality.

When I first watched the trailer I thought that Dr. Strange might be a Skrull because he was acting so unlike himself. I think that evil Strange or Mephisto makes more sense, but I'll be incredibly surprised if that's actually our MCU Strange.

Apparently, the reason why the Sanctum is snowy is because they still haven't fixed the hole in the ceiling from when Banner crashed through. But it doesn't look snowy from the outside so idk if that's the reasoning, maybe there's a time skip in the film.

I'm still trying to wrap my head about the fact that this movie features Sam Raimi version characters, but he won't direct this movie. But this movie does feature Doctor Strange, which he *will* direct the sequel to. Also, Doc Oc actually looks *younger* here than in Spiderman 2. Bless you for doing these breakdowns so fast though.

The time line was splitting before Sylvie killed Kang. She just stopped Kang from ensuring the TVA kept it together. I think the point where it split was down to Strange/Parker.
