I remember playing the game with a friend years ago, and at one point Spidey was fighting lizard-people on top of a subway train. One of them knocked Spidey through a health power-up and off the train, so Spidey was saying, “I’m already at full health” WHILE the cut scene played of Spider-Man falling to his death. “I’m already at full death” became a running joke between the two of us.

I remember when I was a kid I was playing the PS1 game and asking my mother (who has zero experience with video games) how to tie the enemies in web and leave them hanging just like he did in the cartoons, she said "I don't know"... nowadays I can do that as much as I'd like in the modern games and it's as satisfying as younger me thought it would be
