the way this guy makes spiderman follows the direction of the swinging is what makes it a whole lot better. one of the reason that made me enjoy watching this swinging multiple times. definitely the best than other swining videos

@Derek If it actually will be as realistic as possible, it would be really hard for casual players (because of the left stick doing all the work and they fly mid air) they need to remove the ability to move other directions while in mid-air, spider man is not a jet, or either make animations of him pulling himself with web to other direction like Tasm2’s spiderman does.

You can, Just don't push the L3 button while doing it. You have to naturally dive, do it in a tall building, whether it is the Chrysler Building, esb, Avengers Tower, etc. When diving, press the Triangle and Circle (Square for the Remastered) and move L3 either left or right (DON'T PRESS)

What I realize about Peter is that at every point during his swinging, he's ready to swing again. After every swing, he sets himself forward, preparing for another movement. Miles is the opposite, swinging forwards, backwards, and sideways, even almost falling off of objects when web zipping to them.

@@Biryani2op honnestly i prefered web of shadows's web swinging and combat systeme because in spiderman ps4 the web swinging is realistic and fluid but i didn't feel free of my mouvements when i was swinging (like when the distance between spiderman and the ground or a wall was too short he shouldn't be able to swing or he could swing and walk on that ground/wall at the same time like previous games but no he always swing like anything didn't happened) also i think the swinging is to slow, probably to avoid framrate drops. but don't get me wrong this game is on a another planet compared to the previous games i liked him so much and i hope insomniac will fix this things in the next games to get closer to prefection

Im excited to see what type of new animations they make for Peter in the second Spider-Man game when it comes to his web swinging they did a good job with miles in the new game but I feel like Peter needs more advanced air tricks in the second spider man game

I think the reason why they didn't add alot of animations for Peter maybe was its there first spiderman game so they probably worked mostly on the story and because Peter is a full on pro so he probs got bored of all the fancy flips plus miles is still new so he probs is having the time of his life and plus I really think they were extremely confident on how good spiderman ps4 did so they went all out on miles but I'm hoping like you said they add way more animations and hopefully better animations for Pete than miles especially for next gen

One thing I feel this game is missing is The Amazing Spider-Man's camera while swinging. Maaan, that game had some cool cinematic swinging. Even though the web basically sticked to the clouds, the shots of swinging and the camera angle were everything. The way camera zoomed in, zoomed out, moved as you swing, the motion blur, perspective... It was as If though you could actually feel gravity as you're falling down towards the ground, then feel that G-Force, speed and the pull as you swing again inches above the ground. Other than that, this is by faaaaar, best swinging physics in any Spider-Man game, surpassing Spider-Man 2, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man Web of Shadows by miles and miles!

chris prince if you hold Triangle and Circle as Spider-Man has entered a dive (without pressing R3 to initiate the dive) and move the analogue stick to the right or left you can achieve the move! It might take some practice to get right!

Imagine L2 is left wrist shooters activation and R2 is right wrist shooters activation ... this would truly allow you to target left or right building, which would allow for a truly smooth swings, for you would spring the left shooter if you wanted to go left and right to go right. I am saying this cuz this game is so darn dynamic, but sometimes it occurs that you want to swing left and you position yourself to go left but when you trigger the shooters, web gets shot to the building on the right and it kind of destroys the swag :D. Just a potential idea for the future devs ...

Depends on what your max flight speed would be. Cause honestly the maneuverability combined with momentum of swings and grappling can be faster sometimes… like how crazy you could get in Spider-Man 2 ps2
