After I finished one of the fight challenges, an NPC came up to me with an action prompt over her head. I went to give her a high five, but instead she said something like "Oh hey, Spidey... there's a guy on top of that building over there with a creepy skull mask watching us." I knew it was Taskmaster but I never saw him on that building. I'm glad Insomniac followed through with that little detail.

I would assume taskmaster would watch u through the cams the drone is deploying in the drone challenge ? Tbh i like the challenge , it is fun to have something like that in the game actually testing your swimging skills , and u can get away with getting silver in 3 challlenges and still have everything so u can actually leave 3 drone challenges on silver rating

On the bomb and drone challenges L2 is your friend. On the bomb challenges when you're near a bomb hit L2, target the bomb and you can jump right to it as oppose to trying to land next to it

in game developing there is a thing called "LOD", "Level of Detail". basically a 3d model of anything in the game have many version of itself, going from super detailed to extremely simple. LOD0 being the most detailed and the larger the number, the less detailed (LOD1, LOD2...). so when an object is far away from the player's perspective, the game only render the low resolution model, to save memory. the box people are the lowest LOD of that 3D model, the game glitched out and render that instead of LOD0. that's why it looks so weird.

Sure the challenges are the toughest part about the game but with people complaining that the game is too easy to Platinum it seems there's always going to be unhappy faces. As for photo mode additions I'd like the ability to type text into the speech and thought bubbles as otherwise I find them kinda pointless and repetitive after a while. Yes, there'd be an onslaught of photos with bad language or childish humour but for the real fans it'd really pep up those pictures. Also, maybe a light source changer like in HzD as that led to some truly stunning shots and Spidey is such a gorgeous looking game. Definitely a yes for rotating/flipping stickers plus more frames, filters and expressions maybe?

Thanks for the info JR, the challenges were a pain to get to platinum. It really was the only unenjoyable part of the game imo. I'm just glad Insomniac didn't make us upgrade all gadgets to get 100% done.. was hoping they would make those Taskmaster challenges farmable, or why not give you a bunch of challenge tokens after beating the last 'challenge'?

It makes sense that he is only watching u fight seen as he has a photographic memory when it comes to fight styles meaning he knows how u will hit him before u do unless ur deadpool well cos he's insane with no fight style

No way the only gripe I had with taskmaster was the bomb challenges. It didn't say why I only got second tier rewards. Did the exact same thing then I got tier 3. Idk seemed janky to me.

The challenge requirements are perfectly fine. If they’re easy, then calling them a challenge is no longer fitting. I got a platinum in the game in just a few days. I mean sure, the challenge goals may require a good bit of practice and multiple attempts to master but I got golds on them all in pretty much a single day.

i figured out a way to one-hit an enemies for a short period of time but useful for trying to do crime missions or challenges. It requires the suit mod FULL CAPASITATORS and QAUD DAMAGE tell me if this was helpful ps:will take three hits to take down big guys :)

The challenges aren't hard at all. They're challenging but not impossible. I got all of them gold expecting it would be a trophy (since 80% of trophies are hidden) and it wasn't. This is how you max out your gadgets (also no trophy 😣) and get a few suits as part of purchasing them all. They could've made the platinum A bit harder BT adding a difficulty related trophy and putting all gold medals into the mix and cmon... Maxing all gadgets is a must. The game was already Too easy. No need to make it easier.
