One of my favorite childhood games, it's just fantastic in every way. I especially have a soft spot for the soundtrack. I remember crying and running out of the room when Uncle Ben's killer suddenly appeared and shot me with his shotgun lol. Also the oscorp missions... 🤣 And the swinging log in Vulture's tower. Punching Goblin while you hold A riding on his glider. It's clear the people who made this were so passionate; all their faces in the pinhead bowling, I salute you! Thanks for your review.

Excellent review man! This game is so iconic and nostalgic for me. As a pre-teen in the early 2000s, seeing the first Tobey Maguire Spiderman movie in theaters was a great time to be alive and experience. I remember playing hours and hours of this game but never finished it. Its controls felt very familiar to me, having finished the PS1 games. From the gameplay to the music, unlockables, and Easter eggs, I consider this game to be a gem for sure!

It's definitely a gem, and despite the score I gave it, it's still one I have a lot of fun with, and just needed a little more time to iron some mechanics out. NGL, the levels where you fight Scorpion are probably some of my favorite from this game. A lot of Scorpion's dialogue is quite humorous.

This was actually my first GameCube game. I put the GameCube and Spiderman on layaway at KMart. Loved the game back then. The second one was even better but this first one holds a special place in my collection.

Amazing review as always buddy! I haven't played this game in 20 years and yet when watching this it felt like just yesterday when I was first trying it out. It doesn't seem to have aged quite as well as some others from this time but still looks like a fun game to play regardless. I never knew about MJ being taken out as a hidden playable character. I'm always learning something new & cool when watching your videos.

Haven't played this one despite having it for years. The cinematic scenes look highly impressive. I don't really care for SuperHero stuff at least not today's movies but back in the day I liked SpiderMan. Seems like a very solid title I'll have to give it a shot sometime soon. Good review buddy.

Super nostalgic review bro! I remembered jumping from the neversoft's spiderman to this one, it was mind blowing. It has flaws but it was a fun trip for a kid in the early 2000s . One of my favorite fights was the first with the vulture at a warehouse... Epic

I remember playing this back or the McDonalds that had a GameCube set up before Spider Man 2 came out! I think the Xbox version had an addition boss too. Great video as always!

I still remember my brother in law showing me this game soon after we saw the movie in theaters. I always got to experience this game through him or with my younger cousin who eventually got it. Never did own a copy till January this year when I claimed it from Retrowolf’s sale. This is a game that still holds up in my opinion, I loved how you can web sling everywhere without needing to attach to anything. 😂 Fantastic review Marcello, I want to play this now.

I didn't at first either! It wasn't until I tried entering the Mary Jane code where I was like "wait a minute, why is this not working now?" and wondered if it was because the Player's Choice version was a different version. The Xbox version has a slight edge with its 2 exclusive Kraven levels but still a blast to play through on any console. What a great, nostalgic game

I have very limited experience with this game. The little I saw of it, I recognized the combat animations and stuff from the PS1-era game [my first Spiderman game] and found the web-slinging a little silly until later games in the franchise made it look like Spidey actually latches onto buildings and stuff.

Yeah, the combat animations are very much built from the PS1/N64 game (still easily one of my favorite Spider-Man games ever made). When the webs attached to buildings for swinging, it really brought a whole new level of play to the Spider-Man games. Thanks for checking out the review man!

I love this game! Reminds me of both Spider-Man 2000 and Enter Electro (Which funnily enough Treyarch made both this and the Dreamcast port of 2000). I played both 1 and 2 on GameCube (Via Nintendont) and Original Xbox (Via Xbox 360 backwards compatibility), PSP version of 2 (Which is kinda like this except based on Spider-Man 2 instead) and 3 on PSP and Wii (Which is beyond impressive that they finally figured out how to do open world swinging on a handheld considering the PSP is a portable PS2 and that was before Steam Deck with Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4, Miles Morales and the inevitable PC port of 2.) I think I also played the GBA versions of all three Sam Raimi Spidey games too! Honestly swinging around in the Sam Raimi/Tobey Maguire suit in Insomniac's Spider-Man 1 and 2 reminds me of these games just like The Dark Knight/Christian Bale did for Batman Arkham Knight reminding me of the Batman Begins game.

It's a really good game that you can see was built off the framework of the Neversoft title. The third game being on the PSP and running as solid as it does is an impressive feat. I got that version about 5 years ago, but played Spider-Man 3 originally on the Wii, then played the PS3 version. I know the Wii version was heavily panned, but I enjoyed it for what it was. The GBA versions of the Sam Raimi games are all so different, but makes them more intriguing to try them all (I need to cover those in a future GBA episode). Yeah, swinging around in the Insomniac games with the Raimi suit is too awesome, and I replayed Spider-Man Remastered solely with that suit. Thanks for checking out the review man!

Loved this game when it came out . The music gets you straight away and the amazing graphics .Now although Spiderman 2 is a better game , I didn't like the graphics change personally. In this game here , the graphics were awesome even though you shot your web to swing in the sky lol . Ahhh , happy web swinging days and the most perfect Spidey game we had seen at the time .👍
