Good theory...but math is baseline is magic and theoretically peter can catch strange because of lots of variable. 1. Pater has super speed (Proven in many videos with history) 2. Peter is science/math genuious (Created his own web shooter and created many more things) 3. Basic of any magic (Marvel or any other universe) is science and math. 4. Dr Strange underestimated peter parker. 5. Peter has element of surprice which helped him to capture dr. strange. If they will fight again sure peter can't overpower dr. strange. 6. Yeah as you said in video this movie belongs to peter so his power was most important. 7. Dr. Starnge, Captain Marvel and Wanda are way much over powered with any other super hero in Marvels if director shows them in competition they all other will look like candle against sun...like Superman v/s others in DC (Main reason i don't like justice league- no offence to dc fans, i like all individuals dc series) So good analysis but I don't support it.

If Peter didn't interfere, then he could send them home that day using spell. Movie name would be can get to "Dr. Strange bring and send them home"😄😄. So to focus on Spiderman, they have to trap Dr. Strange somewhere else. Because He could defeat all villians of spiderman with 2-3 spells. Marvel already played these dirty games before. A explaination for this is that strange underestimate the spiderman , that A boy can't defeat him so he took him lightly and didn't show his true potential. And talking about science and magic in mcu is that magic in mcu is knowledge harnessed by old species and magicians and witches only use that knowledge, Whether in science we study and use both . And in comics why doom so powerful because he tried to understand the magi by his from his science perspective and using both he did invention beyond science and magic both . He tried to understand that thing rather than using spells like doctor strange . So he was able use that into another things whereas doctor strange mastered spells but didn't understand how they worked . Thats what peter did here he tried to learn mirror dimensions structure . Doctor strange controlled it but never understood it And even in mcu magic is just a science not discovered by current race , But by the old race
