The reason I love this series (Fat Man on Batman) is that it reminds me of my childhood, spent theorising, arguing, joking & fantasizing about comic book movies with my best friend. He died at 16, in 2000. Missed out on all this MCU shit actually happening. As ridoculously good as the movies are, nerding out about it with like minded people is almost as much fun. Thanks, fellas.

Shot in the dark guess about Wonder Woman 2's story: Chernobyl was actually an attempt by the Soviets to harness mystical powers. The disaster opens a gate to the underworld and unleashes the undead and creatures from Tartarus. Steve is one of the spirits that comes back. Wonder Woman has to battle through possessed mutated creatures to save the survivors and close the portal to the underworld.

It could work within the confines of her giving up on humanity for a century and I def feel the antagonist should be another Greek figure (at least until we reach the current stream of events).

I'm tired of critics saying superhero fatigue is setting into audiences, when Logan, Guardians, Wonder Woman and Spider-Man have all had huge box office draws. People just don't want to waste their money/time on crappy big budget films that have a shitty rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Maybe Hades didn't involve himself in Ares' fight with the other gods, and after resolving some conflict with him that may or may not be tied into the cold war, Diana is able to negotiate the release of Steve from the underworld, which would make him the fish-out-of-water after rejoining the land of the living...?

The Berlin Wall came down in the 80's Kevin, so yes, if that is when the sequel is set, definitely means it is in the 80's. As for Trevor, I bet they go the route that the TV series did when it switched to the "modern" time frame and have the 80's version of Steve Trevor be the son or grandson of the original (would need to be grandson for age/time).

Spiderman 3 making the most money makes sense because the trailers made it look fantastic. Sandman looked awesome, the fight between Peter and Harry looked liked it would be intense, and then Venom which was a big draw for many..... obviously, the movie didn't pan out too well. But you can see why so many went to see it. Not to mention Spiderman 2 was fantastic so we expected it to at least be on par.

I don't think people are realizing how insane a movie surrounding the events of the Manson murders by Tarantino could be. They hear Tarantino and Manson... and a lot of people automatically think 'that's been done, there's so many movies about Manson, why bother?!'....... and i'm like.. uhhh Tarantino isn't going to give us a cookie cutter story about the events of what happened, he's gonna spin the fuckin wheel and do something clever no one is expecting. At this point I trust Quentin with almost anything.

I don't want to diminish Bright without seeing it, but I'm getting hints of Alien Nation in all the articles I've read on this. Sci-Fi/Fantasy has a tradition of using fantastical elements to address real world topics (like law enforcement race relations for example) but this feels a little on the nose. Who knows maybe it'll be great.

HONESTLY: Watch Django and picture Will Smith and what he brings to the table as an actor... Also consider that Tarantino had wrote that movie thinking and hoping Will Smith would be the titular actor.. The movie I feel WOULD have been better.. HOWEVER.. Jamie Foxx fuckin' owned that movie and his cameo at the end of 1,000 Ways To Die In The West was spectacular. He brought it to that picture and it's like, I couldn't even picture anyone else now at this point.

Chris Pine SHOULD be The Martian Manhunter, and use the physical characteristics of "Steve" for the mostly CGI character, but use Manhunter disguising himself as "Steve Trevor still alive" until the big reveal... In fact there could be a nice movie where she wants Trevor to be resuscitated but the deal with Hades would be for her to fight on the Russian side or something for years and years before he's brought back. You can have her help the Vietcongs win the war or something, then Trevor comes back and tells "wtf are you doing ? All this for me ?" and she switches sides back.
