All I play is the advanced level (4suits) in spider solitaire. My high score is 1262, but I've started paying closer attention to the number of moves it takes + score and many times has totaled more than 1300. I'm still trying to figure out how that happens. Yes, I undo and the only time I my score + moves is over 1300, is when I've undone a book and I believe after it's lied and said "game over". Yeah, sometimes it'll lie and try to convince you the game is over, when there are still moves left. Like using an empty space to move cards around. Anyway, today my score was 1049 but it took 551 moves to get there. I didn't give up! 😛 I started taking screen shots of some of the games totaling over 1300. I'm playing in windpws7 on my pc. In vista my high score was over 1600. I didn't pay attention to how many moves it took on my other pc.

Well, you start with a score of 500. There are 8 packs that give each 100 points, so we get at 1300. In the very best case, all the cards you get can be put directly at a number/color they match. These are 12*8=96 moves, so the score is 1300-96=1204 (which I thought first). But let's suppose the 50 bottom right cards also match precisely when selected. So, 96-50=46, which means that the ultra maximum score is 1300-46=1254. I really don't think it can be any better. So 1250 is almost impossible..

I've won a few times IIRC, but victory is few and far between... I don't really think it's worth it. The other modes are too easy so they're just not fun... sigh. I guess they couldn't decide which suit left to through for 3 suits, if that could even be done.

not possible without undo. i guess you restarted the game so that u would already know the right moves. anyway, you rule the game ;)

This is of course my theory, maybe someone else can prove it can be more. Maybe in windows 7 or 8 the score system is different (I have only xp). But to get 1250 the odds are extremely low. You have to be super lucky I think.

great job...i played like 15 games on hard so far, and i have yet 2 win any

You have to move the cards. Sometimes I don't finish any books until after all the cards have been dealt. It makes it harder, but it helps to have more than one open space. Make as many open spaces as possible, then you can match up suits. I mastered the 2 suits, before I won in the 4 suits.

@grkgamer χαχαχα οντως ;) εχω 53% νικες αλλα το λιωνω στο undo :$ ειδικα στο ξεκινημα. μπραβο παντως, αυτο π λες δν το χω δοκιμασει ποτε. ασε π στα vista επιτρεπεται κ το undo μετα απο το νεο μοιρασμα οποτε "κλεβω" κ απο κει, αν κ θα προτιμουσα την "αυστηρη" εκδοση του xp, που χεις εσυ οπως βλεπω, γτ εχει περισσοτερη αγωνια :P

@Timsonourside They could put hearts, spades and another self-made suit with let's say blue color or whatever for 3 suit-mode. :) Wouldn't that be fun?

@FetihGena Really, I didn't restart the game. I never do that, even when I play just for fun. If you play this game more and improve, you'll see it's possible without undo (although you'll win 1 out of 20-30 games).

Yes sure, the maximum score is 1204 theoretically I think

No, according to microsoft, the highest possible score is 1245. However, I have scored higher at times and many times score+moves=>1300! Still not 100% certain how the bonus happens, but it does! I do know it happens after undoing books, and I believe after it lies and says game over, but I continue because there are still moves and I go on to win the game. I keep saying I'm gonna record my games to catch how it happens, but haven't yet.
