The Light Novel is so great and entertaining that for the first time after reading Overlord and Re:Zero, I feel so thrilled. One noteworthy aspect of the novel is that it's auxiliary characters are written pretty well.

Though, Volume 9 would be the ideal point in my opinion, the interaction between Jircniv and Ainz, the battle on Katze plains outshines the bad taste of CGI in the anime. Hell, I think I felt a pang of fear when on Katze plains, the scene is written through Re-Estize soldier's POV.

Ariel will use Abyss magic on Kumoko, but kumoko will use the egg laying skill and parallel minds to transfer her soul, after that Guli Guli will give her Dragon corpses to feed on while she Evolves, and she will be an Arachne! And her name shall be White. if we got nothing but kumoko time it would take only 2-3 episodes, but I predict it will be about 4-5, we are after all reaching the head of the human arc

This was really a life saver for her. She kinda sucked with her base stats due to taking so long to understand the value of raising things like health strength speed, etc before leveling. Her evolutions helped close the gap, but this huge bump to her base stats made up for a lot of the early mistakes. I know long term it doesnt matter, but until the event happens, her bump in stats is a big deal.

@@EssDubz In this world system, every time you level up you get boosts to your base stats based on your skills such as herculean strength. The higher that skill level is, the bigger the boost to strength you get every single time you level. She was not aware of this for quite some time, she just leveled up by ambushing stuff and killing it till she was able to evolve. That lead to her already terrible stats as a spider monster, STAYING terrible because she took way too long to get the booster skills up to a high level to help that. This siphoning of spider momma helped offset that gimped start in a big way. Its why whats her face, the vampire baby she ends up helping raise, is such a monster stat wise, because she knew about this by then and forcibly trained her as a baby so that when she did start to level up she would be getting maximum boosts per level.

@@EssDubz She started out with skandi which basically was a maxxed out speed booster stat so every time she leveled up her speed increased by a huge amount. I think it was her "unique skill" as an isekai character. Its been a very long time since I read them, but if I remember it right, it basically goes like this, and im making up the names for the skills, its just an example. Agility means for each level you gain you get one point of dexterity per skill level. When it hits level 10 and evolves into Hyper Agility, it becomes 10 points of dexterity per skill level. then skandi is like 100 points of dexterity per skill level every time you level up. Obviously, if you are a min maxer type out to get the highest possible stats, what you do is you work on methods to get skill ups in those basic stat boosters until they evolve to that second form and get that to level up as well, all before you gain your first level. Someone with agility level 2 only gains 2 dex per level, someone with hyper agility level 2 gains 20 dex per level. You can see what a huge difference that will make long term.
