It's the insidiousness of his character I think. You can tell that the character wants to give off a selfless, kind, charming vibe and he exudes a sort of charisma but his actions are malicious, cruel and horrific. It's like watching movies about killers who pretend to be likable. American Psycho for example.

That might be one of the best non-fiction books (Ben Mezrich) Ive ever read, it is so unbelievable the fact that it happened is just insane, and they decided to make it into a screwball action-comedy leaving out a lot of the best parts. The guy who wrote it’s previous book was turned into The Social Network which is like a 9.5/10, would love to see War Dogs done right in that same vain…but then again David Fincher did TSN so prob wont happen haha

I'm talking about full trailer showing nearly the whole film a year before release. Just watched the movie and I loved it. It was slow at first but pulled me in real hard halfway through and the last 20 minutes was a perfect example of building tension and paying off the rest of the stuff in the movie. Haven’t read the story it’s based on but I’m sure the film does it justice
