SneakyAutobot that could be the case. What if in a 2nd game (if it happens) Norman Osborn becomes the green goblin as a way to find a new cure for Harry, and he’ll stop at nothing to succeed. Maybe during this Harry/Venom escapes and Norman tries to stop him but fails as the symboite attaches to goblin instead, then to spiderman, leading to venom getting the symbol, then maybe finding its way to Eddie Brock.
