If I remember correctly the one that she interacted with the most and was comfortable enough to manoeuvre into her mouth was HERS 😃 A Green Bottle Blue if I’m not mistaken. She handled him a lot so it wasn’t too phased. Stunningly beautiful animal. If you google them the colouring is just * chef’s kiss * He passed a few years ago. Name was Cooli. RIP little dude 🖤

You should definitely do Ocean Eyes! If you want to do a collab song, her and Khalid made a beautiful song called Lovely. Ocean Eyes and Lovely are slower songs, but they're so beautiful to listen to. Billie takes on a lot of topics in her songs that most people won't. She calls out some things in NDA. Not being the "stereotypical pop princess" was a huge part of her image in the early days. She didn't want the world obsessing over her body so she hid it with her clothing. "Everything I Wanted" is another song where she goes deep into an unexpected place- some of it about her fame as well.

BUT I think it's the fact she didn't sound like that most of the time - i.e. the muliple layers and her unique edge - that are making them come back. Yes! This was my intro to Billie and I got immediately obsessed. The inspiration for this one is a BBC show from the 2010's called Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbarch, Martin Freeman and the amazing Andrew Scott as Jim Moriarty. The whole show was a masterpiece but there's this particular scene on season 2 episode 3 where Sheelock (Cumberbatch) and Moriarty are having the most amazing conversation and Moriarty goes " in world full of locked doors he who has the key is king and honey.... you should see me in a crown." Favorite quote of my favorite scene of my favorite episode of the whole show so immediately lost my mind when I heard this. She loves Moriarty of course and the lyrics describe a lot of the things he'd do. And yes most of her special effects are practical. Also realize they use Billie's name but it's her and Phinneas, her brother. They are truly a collaborative pair. Any interview with both of them is so informative to watch. They are great artists.

On the "Burial a Friend" Video, Eric puts the mug to his face when the video shows Billie Levitating [7:16] - a key image in the video; and here at 4:21, Eric talks a gulp when the Tarantula comes out of Billie's mouth - the most challenging part for arachnophobes, but most compelling for Billie fans - so at each moment in those video's there IS a little pause which would be a good time to take a drink - so is the "missing the most compelling image" MUGSHOT MOMENT simply a coincidence. I can't think of any other moments in other Billie videos that will be missed if you lift the MUG to your face at at any moment in the video. The Takashi Murakami Video is almost better - at the time Billie made that video she did have a pet Tarantula. P.S. It would require a large time commitment but I believe you would enjoy it but Billie documentary "The World's A Little Blurry" [February, 2021 R.J. Cutler} - not for a reaction - it follows the story of a 15 - 17 yr. old on her way to becoming a 5 time Grammy winner in January, 2020.
