My lwb Suzuki 413 had front and rear locking diffs with 30" mud terrains and a 6 to 1 low range transfer box and heavy duty clutch and easily kept up with 90" Landrovers and sometimes out performed them due to the locking diffs, a standard 413 is good, a modified 413 is unstoppable.

Why does the engine stalls (stops) so often? At 2:28 for example. Not enough power/torque from 1.5 liter?

It just has 130Nm of torque an its N/a. But its just practice. I owned the older one with just 110Nm and my engine didn't stopped so often. You always have to stay on the gas and when you got it, it doesn't do it this often anymore.

Obviously he is has not much experience with a clutch or its just not his car and he isn't experienced especially with this clutch. This is just a fault of him not from the car.

Beim Niva kann man nur das Verteilergetriebe sperren...nix vorn und hinten. Der Jimny hat eine Traktionskontrolle, also elektronische Schlupfregelung. Technisch ist das nicht vergleichbar, aber allemal wirkungsvoller als das gesperrte Verteilergetriebe (was ja Standard ist bei jedem richtigen Geländewagen, auch beim Jimny).

Sobald man Allrad einschaltet ist vorn u hinten die Differenzial Wirkung ausgeschaltet , dazu schreibt der Hersteller, man darf deshalb nur auf losem bzw nassen Untergrund den Allradantrieb einschalten

@@wolfgangwind6918 Du wirfst hier alles durcheinander. Im Niva hast du permanent Allrad. Permanent bedeutet "Immer". Die 2 Hebel i.d. Mitte sind Untersetzung sowie Sperre für das Verteilergetriebe. Deswegen sitzen die Hebel ja auch direkt über dem Verteilergetriebe. Krabbel doch mal unter einen Niva und suche an V-Achse sowie H-Achse nach etwas, was eine Diffsperre ansteuert. In Frage käme mechanisch, also durch Bowdenzüge o. Gestänge; elektrisch, also Kabellage nebst Stellmotor; oder pneumatisch, durch Über- o. Unterdruck. Nichts davon wirst du finden. Wobei ich glaube, dass du noch nie unter einem Geländewagen gelegen hast...du bist eher so einer, der Bedienungsanleitungen liest u. sie dann nicht versteht.

@@sergey-ms НО! про мост то забыли передний и еще про раму забыли и еще про качество забыли так что джимни 2 раза лучше нивы даже без блоков. нива полуджип у которой хорошо задница рвется когда ее вытаскивают но это и понятно несущий кузов (нет рамы) Джимни супер!

In the bit that defeats the new Jimny from the 6 minute mark onwards, am pretty sure if he waited another second or two when the wheels were spinning, he may have progressed. This is because the new emulated diff lock (via wheel braking) needs an unfortunate amount of wheel spin before it engages. I'm hoping in the future there is some way to control the activation point via an ECU hack or similar, because at the moment the amount of slip is so much that the car is increasing it's chance of getting stuck. I've seen a system that engages in little as 1/4turn of slip and was very successful on UTVs, though this was a mechanical rather than electronic system. In the older Jimny's you can emulate the new Jimny's electronic system by using the hand brake or foot brake, though this takes much practice it does give you the ability to apply braking (albeit to multiple wheels) from the outset rather than when the wheels have been spinning hopelessly for some time.

I noticed he stalls a lot so he might be driving a MT which makes sense if he stop trying becasue he was feathering the clutch, perhap in the AT he'll just go full throttle and that will engage the brake lsd system.

Bei solchen Einsätzen wäre eine sperrbare Hinterachse sehr hilfreich! Eine kürzere Geländeuntersetzung und/oder Automatikgetriebe würden die Kupplung entlasten. So ausgestattet wäre jede G-Klasse zu schlagen!

Klasse Video! Ich hab den Samurai gehabt und später den Jimny erster Generation mit Schalthebel zum Einlegen des Allrad und Untersetzung. Den Samurai hat der Rost aufgefressen. Der Jimny war mir steht's ein treuer Begleiter ohne jede Macken. Zudem mit hohem Wiederverkaufswert. Wwarum wohl? ;-) Der Samurai war schon eine kleine Wühlsau und hier im Video ist gut zu sehen das der neue Jimny deutlich zugelegt hat.

-I had an 88' Samurai back in the day before the feminized control bots took over the USA. I put a Calmini 3/16" skid plate with J bolts to frame, covered the entire bottom of the truck. You could bang it on rocks high center it and then get out an push it off the rocks! I'm in Arizona by the way, so lots of mountain to desert terrain. I have a JLUR today but would love one of these new Jimnys. I would love to see a Eaton TruTrac option front and rear rather than traction control, however. Great video! Deutschland looks like my childhood home in Michigan!

Отлично все работает. Со своим клиренсом и короткой базой он пролез там где джип сел-бы на брюхо. Не забываем что у него под капотом всего 2л. Поэтому такой алгоритм работы блокировки. Джимми супер, но только для двоих....

Dieser Kommentar bezieht sich auf den *ersten* (Titel gebenden) "Kandidaten" aus der *aktuellen* Baureihe *(Jimny):* Jetzt noch Differenzialsperren, quasi als "Tüpfelchen auf dem i" - und der kleine "Modder-Würfel" würde alle(s) in Grund und Boden fahren, damit wäre er prakt. konkurrenzlos, wo er doch schon ohne selbst die renommiertesten Offroader alt aussehen lässt! @@Drako9874 Ich fahre den neuen Jimny seit 2 Jahren und kann nur positives berichten. Defender hatte ich früher und für das Defendergeld bekomme ich 2 Jimnys , habe keinen Dieselärger, keinen Turbo und Ladeluftkühler oder Partikelfilter. Nur zu empfehlen-wenn man einen bekommt :-)
