Spies Are Forever Songs Ranked

Me? Expressing opinions on KZbin? It’s more likely than you think. Hi, it’s me with a 40 minute ranking video. I tried to cut it down as best I could, but the video ended out feeling choppy, and it didn’t flow very well if I did that. (Somebody’s Gotta Do It is probably the best example of what happened). Two quick things, 1: I know that certain numbers may look like bad rankings (13, 12, etc.) but I swear if it's in my top 14, I love that song, and even if it's not, I still really like the song. 2: I doubt anyone would want to see it, but I do have a list of rankings that's a bit more in depth than this video for most songs (such as We Love the Prince! and Spies are Forever). If you would like to see it though, feel free to ask! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this video despite the length, and please leave suggestions for new videos in the comments!

I don't know why Torture Tango is never #1 on these lists! It's amazing! Whether you know the motives behind it or not (and lets be real, knowing that it's actually Owen takes it to a whole other level) it is just exhilarating. Most of the time in musical theatre, Act 1 finale's are one of, if not the, best number in the show. This is a clear example. Not to mention, when Tatiana saves him and asks, "what's your damage, man?" it introduces you to a whole new side of Curt where he believes that he needs to do this alone since Owen is gone. He won't be replaced. It's also just a really great song.

The first time I watched this musical, I wasn’t really paying attention. So I was really confused when everyone was saying “wow curt mega is a gay icon for representation”. Going back and rewatching it made me realize just how good the writers were

Finally, someone who agrees with me about Lauren's rendition of Eyes on the Prize I! I love Lauren so much and she plays the character so well, but her voice is too light for the tone of the song. I feel this way with her about Taz too. Part played perfectly, tone of voice... not so much.

Spies are forever would be so wonderful as a larger production. Like with a broadway budget. Imagine “we love the prince” with a huge ensemble or “one step ahead” with some like sick props or if they can pretend to be on jet packs with wires. I don’t know it would just be so sick.

In spies are forever when curt and joey are dancing,curt’s movements are slightly ahead of joey’s. Am I the only one who thinks that it would be better if joey’s were ahead of curt’s due to one step ahead?

Ive always thought that’s supposed to symbolize Curt’s recklessness and the fact that he quickly jumps into things without thinking, and the fact the One Step Ahead things comes into play during One Step Ahead, as Owen always sings first in that song when they’re singing the same lines back at each other

My only problem with spies are forever is how Owen could go from being with curt to hating him completely. I’d get never being able to forgive him but to spend so much time to ruin Curt’s life when his life is pretty much already ruined.
