We may never know whether the fairly maiden consuming the chockies was or wasn't Spike. But he certainly played the fairly miss so very well in that tooty fruity; "The Fresh Fruit Song" clip. Here in the antipodes South Pacific region, the national theme for chocolate indulgences (and the energy stores they produce) seems to be "Roses". They help to keep energy levels up for many Kiwis, perhaps just in case global warming should turn quickly to another ice age, and the nation needs to trek a while in the cold, across newer Antarctic snow plains.

I think the 'fair maiden' may be the late great John Bluthall, he of Frank Pickle Vicar of Dibley fame but a stalwart of Spike's on the telly for years, plus Never Mind The Quality Feel The Width, the Doctor films, One Foot In The Grave, Hancock, Dave Allen and just about everything else on tv for years.
