@@reybrawlstars bacicly one bit of the fire is spikes super so that’s why his star power reacts if you spin, the game thinks you are walking but you are spinning so it puts fire down and like barleys attack it stacks so you can heal a lot if you are a good spinner

this is speculation, but is the best theory I’ve come up with: The problem with Spike is that the trigger for his star power was somehow imported into the code for the fire trail ability. Why this is I don‘t know, maybe they copy-pasted parts of spikes super into the ability and that part contained the trigger for the star power, but as a result it will always detect the fire trail as the spike super, causing the starpower to trigger. It doesn‘t help that the trail stacks, causing the healing to stack aswell

Aight so I just started watching so idk if Rey mentions this, but I am pretty sure that the demon fire ability has copied code from Spike's super, only the damage value and the area of it are changed. Which means that the star power code thinks that the fire is ACTUALLY Spike's super, therefore heals him.

There is also another game breaking glitch with Colt. You have to use Magnum Special with the Smite angelic ability and it is broken. It basically creates a minefield for the opposing team each time you use your basic attack. It is great for area control especially in Hot Zone and specific Showdown maps.

Heres a few hints: Most of the spikes are braindead and if you use something like a thrower you can use them as walking super / hyper charge batteries. Works really well with Barley from testing! Another thing, if you have a high enough damaging super you can also one shot them, AKA something like Squeak's if you hit them centered Or you can try and push them out of their pile of spikes using gale's super for example, reducing their healing and maybe letting you out DPS it

As someone who does not have Fertilize, I knew it was a big bug when I saw the amount of healing a Spike got in a Knockout match. It made me suffer three losses with Grom.

until the Spike bug is fixed here are some of the best ways i found to deal with it 1- Deal an insane amount of damage to insta kill spike some of my best ways to do this are (Dynamike Super/Crow Hypercharge/Timing my attack with my teammates) 2- get Spike out of the flames then deal a quick amount of damage to kill him before he gets more flames some of my best ways to do this are (Primo Gadget into the IKE range then Super/Cord Super and 3 attacks with Comboshrooms/Gene Pull into the IKE Range + Help from team) 3- if you are playing an objective based gamemode try to go for the objective instead of Spike but do keep Spike in check so he doesn't melt the IKE/Safe 4- just don't play the game

Surge was great with this big. Bc if the spike chooses to not fight back you can charge your 3 stages instantly and become a power house throughout the match

Hey rey! Heres an explanation a to why spinning makes the healing faster, thats because the game places the demon fire upon sensing movement, and spinning tricks the game jnto thinking your are moving faster. You can test this by using max with star power, since you will either reload faster or get super faster with spinning than without.

Theres also a colt bug with smite. The things dont disappear they stay on the field and you can stack them all over the map like bombs 😢. Update: it can break the game by crashing the server .

the only way to counter this is to either use a attack so strong in insta kills the spike in 1 hit (like mandy or smth) or use something that knocks the spike away from his fire (like ticks super or bulls super or smth) and then killing him fast nvm they patched this thank god i can finnaly play the game again

Tip for spike, dont move to quickly the more fire you have under you the more healing and never run in to a stationary spike his fire stack can kill you if you dont move slow enough so that your fire can stack
