The remake was my first ever experience with RE4. It was one of the greatest experiences ive ever had playing a video game in a franchise I'm only lightly into. I played RE2 Remake and Village to completion and they were good, but RE4 Remake was simply an experience i wish I could relive. The ending song that sounds like it belongs to an 80's action movie was a beautiful cherry on this amazing cake. Seriously one of the greatest games I've ever played.

The original is the a disappointment and is overrated. Village was awful and 5? Well let’s not talk about 5. Now this game has proven me wrong that all “buy and sell” re games are bad. For the first time in years not only was my belief proven wrong but this game has topped Code Veronica as my favorite RE Game. Alongside these 2 RE1 original were the only game to hold that title. Hope they remake it again and it feels more scary this time. For now RE4R will remain the best RE Game
