There is a varible called "max-stuck". This makes the material no longer move if its momentum is lower than this threshold for a while. Usefull for optimizations. Materials such as stone/rock, metal use this. Set it to 0 so it never freezes and thus allways moves.

My favourite part of this video is the third and last volcano at 18:02, how some rocks are semi broken on the surface and they all are just thrown away in space just to fall back later. That's what the dinosaurs saw.

Suggestion: Crash 2 HUGE planets into each other and then explode the final result of them using water after they both settle from colliding to one another.

Best video of SST yet! I just got the game and have been testing stuff. 2 fun things I recommend trying: 1) make a cool volcano (I made one that use water vapor escaping through a small hole). And 2) play with the Magnet object, it pulls in metal, which means you can use it to rip metal out of planets or cause a nice impact straight through one. Practicing with different gravity strengths is a must (if you turn up magnet verry slowly you can watch a planet's core slowly break free). I just found out that plant will grow if there's a nearby sun object (but only on the north facing part right now I guess). They grow with water and you can make them grow manually by increasing their aqua value. A fast way to make growth is to set plant element to "aqualize" : When "drawing" a material, click the material name to open the material tab (it's huge and draggable), there's a checkbox towards the bottom. In SST mode there's a "Color Gravity" that you can use to pull individual colors like the magnet it's super cool! I'm exited for the future of this!

I just found out that you can invert the gravity object so that it pushes instead of pulls by setting the "gravity_maxvel" in the Cosmos options to a negative number. I found a good way to make a supernova. Start by making a super heated ball of plasma with your favorite materials. In Cosmos tab, turn on node_gravity. Set a high gravity_maxvel (just increase slowly until it's were you think is good). Disable fl_collide (this basically makes a singularity). When ready, turn off node_gravity then fl_collide back on (if you do fl_collide first then the particles will be instantly teleported away, so not as satisfying).
