Kudos to you for admitting that Twilight changed your life! It’s probably one of the books that everybody has read and loved but is now either ashamed to say it or just saying it is so bad that they would never read it 😂 I applaud your confidence in admitting the truth out loud and also generally not being a sheep in your reviews of books!

Wow I’ve been following your videos for a while and I’m very surprised to hear you’re at 6000 subscribers (almost 7 now! I just checked) Because your videos are so professional but still so personal and fun AND you’re a very consistent uploader. You deserve way more than 6000 and I am 100% sure your channel is going to grow massively soon ❤

Holes is such a good first time reader rec, how the stories commingle and the flipping from past to present would for sure open up what books are. Would recommend the Poppy War series by RF Kuang too!

Loved this! The way you feel about The Secret History is the way I feel about Martyr! now. So much to unpack! I can’t wait to read it again. I could talk about what the ending meant all day. I’m an interesting mix of Irish and Armenian but look completely Irish tbh I’ll never forgive my mom for not giving me her olive skin 😂. It skipped me and went to my youngest daughter. Congrats on the subscribers, you deserve it 🙏
@katerinareem25 күн бұрын
irish and armenian !! that is definitely a unique mix and HAHA that is annoying the olive skin genes skipped your generation but i bet you take more care in protecting your skin as a result! and thank you my love

Hi! As a fellow The Secret History fan, and I can really recommend Yellowface and Sharp Objects. I also read Babel before reading Yellowface. Yellowface is quite different from Babel, but a very interesting read! I'm currently reading The Poppy War by the same author. Gillian Flynn is one of my favorite writers, despite having only published a few books. Something about her writing is just addicting. Her books are very dark, but I think you might enjoy them. In addition to Sharp Objects, you should check out Gone Girl, if you haven't already. Even if you have seen the movie before, the book was worth the read. Love the feminine rage in that one. Sharp Objects is one of my favorite books, and the HBO tv series is very good too!

eeek so excited to read! I actually found three of her books (gone girl, sharp objects and dark places) in a charity shop recently so I got them all in one go lol

I read Alive while my wife was about to give birth to our daughter, but any book about the crash in the Andes is interesting. My wife’s Uruguayan, so it adds to the interest for me. Amazing story.
@katerinareem22 күн бұрын
omg wow an intense read whilst your daughter is being born, but then again i'm sure it made you appreciate how precious life is! I was tempted to read alive also, but ended up reading miracle in the andes as I heard it was more heartfelt being written by one of the survivors (:
