Derrick bashing younger gays for apparently us not knowing our history only to show he doesn't know what he's talking about... There are people of all ages in our community that can educate themselves way better on a lot of topics concerning LGBT+ people. Everyone can learn more. Also just the shading of RuPaul in that whole bit, she was definitely talking about Matheu and how Ru hit it and quit it because Matheu dared to ask for a raise after doing Ru's hair and makeup on the show for over 8 years; Willam and Ru would later get into a screaming match out on the street because Ru refused to visit Matheu while hospitalized, someone who was one of Ru's closest friends for decades.

Alan B T had been flowing about pre (or early) Season 9 that Mathu asked for a raise near filming the first episode and it eventually lead to her firing Mathu. This also apparently is the reason Ru was not in drag for the first episode of Season 9
@Feehily817 жыл бұрын
Adam Holmes Mathu wasn’t fired, he did half of Ru’s face, and walked out during the second episode, hence Ru’s make up suffered a little during few episodes, noticeably on second episode season 9, until Ru hires Delta and Raven to do her make up and hair. I’m not saying that it’s right, I think Ru should have given him a raise because without Mathu, Ru would not have such great looks, Mathu basically IS Ru’s make up and hair. Every single RPDR queens respects Mathu, and damn it he deserves that raise! But who didn’t know that Mathu was having some personal issues? We all could tell by the progress of RPDR, he started to look very slumpy, frumpy, unkempt, and slowly just looking more like he’s homeless. I thought he was just going through a rough time, but then it all made sense now, he’s probably going through depression and all sort, and just didn’t care about his appearance, which most people who are depressed usually feel, and I hope he’s getting the helps he needs. He’s a lovely person and I think he’s someone who knows his shit. Ru needs to stop burning bridges tho, first Lucian, then Mathu, who’s next?
