The Total Drama cast is the most forgivable to be attracted to even though they're "teenagers" because they honestly don't act, look, or sound like teenagers. I literally always thought they were adults until I got curious and looked it up to confirm. Imagine my surprise when it turns out they're 16. The writers of this show also didn't really treat them like teenagers, even if it's been explicitly said in the show. They have a more realistic portrayal of early 20's young adults. Maybe even a vague 'college students' feel.
