Hi, I have a Bernina 830 machine and a shank that fits onto it. Will the ruler foot fit onto it? I can't believe that this concept wasn't thought of ages ago. I do hope that I will be able to use your foot and rulers as I am in love with this concept.

You need the Bernina adapter foot and a Westalee foot. If you use the Bernina ruler foot for the long arm it will invalidate your warranty. They are afraid you will put your needle down with the foot raised and damage the machine.

Leonie Thankyou for your excellent videos for ruler work, I am enthralled! I now have my low shank ruler foot for my new Husqvarna OPAL 690 Q, but I am unable to engage the correct settings in order to produce good stitches and to stop the thread from fraying and breaking. Can you or anyone familiar with the HUSQVARNA OPAL 690Q help me? I have carefully studied the instructions that came with the foot and rulers but there are so many options on my computer screen and I have failed to get good stitches or to stop my thread from breaking. I have P-foot Pressure, Sensor Foot Auto, Free Motion Floating, Free Motion Spring Action. When I engage Free Motion quilting my screen changes to offer me Pivot height instead of P-foot pressure. I shall be SO grateful for help as I have failed so far to enter the correct set of instructions to produce successful stitches. I also saw the video above showing how to manually adjust the height of the foot by loosening the screw - what an amazing combination of settings. Bless anyone out there for your advice! Angie.

I am confused on how to know where to do your cross hairs

This is a 12 inch square. You mark out the square and measure the half way point both ways or they have crosshair templates to help
