I'm glad someone is finally taking spin master seriously, they're geared towards kids but I've been collecting the individual figures for a few years and the suit looks better than the 89 one they did for the flash movie.

Just got mine. This is such as great toy especially for the price. Spin Master did knock it out of the park. I also have their RC 1989 Batmobile which is amazing! After all these years who would have thought we would be getting such quality 1989 Batman stuff.

The Returns suit all day. When Burton and crew came back with a bigger budget, first thing they wanted to do was upgrade the suit.

This is amazing, this takes me back to when I was a kid in the early 90’s. I got into Batman figures while Batman Returns figures by Kenner were out, so I missed out on the Toy Biz Batwing. My buddy had it and I thought it was the coolest toy ever. I’m now 35, there’s still a part of me that still wants it. But I think I’d be happier with the Spin Master version. I do have the Flash Spin Master Batwing, the huge 27 inch version which I bought for only $15 on Black Friday. But nothing beats the OG Batman 89 Batwing.

One of biggest reasons why I'm excited for this release is not only the OG Batwing getting this scale treatment like The Flash version, but the Batman figure's scale is a major improvement over how Spin Master handled Batman in The Flash toyline (which he came out shorter in scale compared to the other characters). Plus, I still have my Mattel 4 inch '89 Batman figure, and I've notice a figure comparison between that and the new Batman figure. It's a perfect match from what I've seen! So happy that Spin Master has improved the scale to Batman, and I'm so looking forward to getting it soon!

Great review! This is definitely a pickup! So glad you were able to get one. They are still out of stock at Amazon. Hopefully they will get more in. I always loved the design of the Batwing and as you said. they nailed the look.

Great review, I passed on this set ( ended up 3D printing a 1/18th Batwing recently) but I am getting the 3 pack of the Batman figures, While the Batwing looks fantastic its just missing too many things for me such as the machine guns, the front guns and the scale is off, however the figure looks like Keaton! I've been enjoying the Batman 89/returns stuff from Spin Master, its a great scale to Print around. Edit: spelling

I'm not certain the scale is off actually. Have you ever seen the production model? In universe, the Batwing is actually a very small. Google photos of the shooting model or watch the end of Batman where it crashes on the steps of the cathedral.

Just got mine today. The Batman figure is probably a little to big as far as scale is concerned, but this Batwing looks awesome next to the 1:18 Scale 1989 Batmobile. Now I need to figure out how to make a custom wall mount bracket for it. BTW.. This is a 2024 Model release from Spin Master, but for whatever reason not an easy find. Not sure what the actual suggested retail cost is as I had to acquire mine on eBay.

It looks like ink jet printing on the face which is a step up I hope they stick to , especially with the new DC movies coming up with Superman next year.I also hope they go back to all the old movies too.

So impressed with this set for such a low low price. Spin Master puts McFarlane to shame imo. McFarlane repeatedly puts out weird, janky figures and vehicles for 'adult collectors' that always have glaring flaws in their design and accuracy. Meanwhile Spin Master makes toys for kids that cost far less and are often far nicer looking.

I'm hoping spin master upscales for the 12 inch figures but it also wouldn't surprise me if McFarlane puts a "toy size" embargo on 1/12 & 1/10 scale vehicles after spin masters bigass flash batwing blew McFarlane's out on the water for better bang for your buck!

The Toybiz Batwing was garbage, floppy distorted wings, big round front, and a canopy that was very wrong, Kenner once again made the far superior toy back in the day but these spinmaster versions I'd say are better

Honestly its sad! I got tired of waiting and bought a rare expensive model kit and it is perfect. I got excited to see this UNTIL i noticed there was no mini gun on the side got da doors but dats it AND! no scissors in the nose. Dat sucks! Maybe they should have done the turbo jet instead.

The only thing is that the cape sucks! The “wings” at the bottom are terrible, it’s not wide enough, and the peg hole 😢

Mcfarlane should look at this tiny...4 inch batman and see the spot on likeness and be ashamed the put out a complete crap ,lazy no likness at all 7 inch 89 batman.
