If we consider a function of t: Exponential: a^t (where a can be any base) Quadratic: t^2 (which is our case) Is there something I'm missing?

This clarifies the PEG significantly. It would have been more helpful, in my opinion, if this was frontloaded or covered at the very beginning of this series.
