I like to come back and listen to these acoustic renditions of his songs every now and then. I'm glad these are backup. I tried looking for these last years and I couldn't even find the SPIN youtube.

He kills it everywhere he goes, Summerfest in Milwaukee a couple nights ago was absolutely nuts. But then hearing these acoustic versions of his songs just makes me realize how even more how incredible this guy truly is: he can easily go off on a 5 minute electric solo on this song or just jam it out on the acoustic. Bravo Gary, bravo.

@dinkymau Its a Epiphone Masterbilt. Its kind of like their answer to the smaller body styles that were very popular pre-war (OM, 000 sizes) and are starting to become popular again. They're pretty affordable for their type and from what I hear play just as well.

He's said Hendrix was his main influence. He's usually going to try and sound like Hendrix. Having a similar sound doesn't mean people think he's Jimi.

he isn't technically anything special. I don't understand what's up with people. Gary Clark Jr. is a nice musician, and it's definitely cool that he's sort of getting the dirty blues back into the spotlight, but he's not a some virtuoso guitarist, he's very average.
@adanacman6667 жыл бұрын
actually i like everything bout this dude but his rythem guitar playing defenetly needs some practice
@dimitrisblatsios47067 жыл бұрын
You are missing the point here. He is not a great guitar player. Rather average. But he s got a hell of a sound. Trademark.
@chrisroberts449311 жыл бұрын
Don't like it... Don't like it one bit. Appreciate the soul. Don't appreciate the melody or average guitar playing ...
