I think maybe the brand need to rethink about the positioning of the shoes moving forward. If they really intended it to be a race day shoes, the weight is definitely a factor that shall be given more priority and less about stability and support etc (and definitely not such a thick insole). I am pretty sure most of the people wont want over 250g shoes on race day, let alone 300g+ (it is almost triple the weight of Evo 1 and double the weight of usual race day shoes). I do understand from price POV creating a lightweight racing shoes may not be feasible. But, it not necessarily have to be a race day shoes. It is definitely interesting and able to cater for a larger market to just create like a speed training shoes, i.e. Endorphin Speed series/Deviate Nitro series/Boston series, use less stiff plates like nylon plates, carbon infused plates, or plates with holes in certain areas (eventhough this may not be that good for marketing purposes) and with lesser toes aggressiveness (from the pic it is way too aggressive for a training shoes / speed day shoes). Then they can call it a speed day shoes, but not a race day shoes. In this sense, heavier weight with more protection will be just fine. Now it stands somewhere weirdly in between both categories, trying to achieve too much within a pair of shoes. Nonetheless, this is definitely a good start for the brand and for the sport industry in Malaysia. Hope that the brand can continue to innovate and bring in more interesting options to catch up with other big names soon!

Yes agree, shoes on heavier side and aggressive. Not enjoy it on slower run, and it only perform at faster pace due to the design of the shoes. Yes there’s much more model in the market to choose from. Nonetheless this is their 1st shoes, a lot way for them to grow and evolve by study what competitors is doing with their shoes
