This motivated me to try the same challenge this week, since I have holidays and an abundance of time. I decided to roll the numbers for the days of the week in advance though and wish me luck, because it's Monday: 1 hour, Tuesday: 6 hours, Wednesday: 8 hours, Thursday: 5 hours, Friday: 4 hours, Saturday: 10 hours, Sunday: 9 hours. I guess I'll edit this at the end of the week to see if I've made it. Edit: SO, I have finished the challenge, I think. I was not as diligent with my tracking but it should amount to roughly those times. And I "cheated" a bit with a few audiobooks. Ngl, the last two days I didn't get much sleep, but I did finish a lot of books. I was on a YA kick so I read the following books: Monday: finished listening to Nightbirds (good, but not my favorite) Tuesday: All these Bodies (there is no satisfying solution😡), listened to most of I must betray you (really interesting) Wednesday: finished I must betray you, finished audiobooks Finlay Donovan is killing it (not my humor) and Daughter of the Pirate King (reminded me of To kill a Kingdom, but with Celeana from Throne of Glass as a protagonist) Thursday: finally got to finish The Gathering Storm (and the Ending was great), also listened to My Body (kind of interesting, but could have used more cohesion) Friday: Read The Bonding (don't look it up, it's embarassing erotica) and Concrete Rose (really interesting and very different from my life) Saturday: This Place is still beautiful (super cute sister protagonists), On the Subject of unmentionable things (eh, not my favourite but safety is important), listened to The Echo Wife (super interesting and Evelyn is my new favourite psychopath) Sunday: You'll be the Death of me (all 3 of them are terrible), listened to 3/4 of Daughter of the Siren Queen (Which has been quite clichee so far, but it's fun), and Nothing more to tell (very underwhelming bc I've hit my limit of mediocre YA mysteries) Don't let this intimidate you, I don't normally read this much and I am a fast reader and listen to 2x speed on my audiobooks. This was quite fun and I'll be sure to continue reading a lot, but I think a rigit timing is not for me. Something like a book a day or so is a better goal for me personally. Hi Bella😅😅. A huge fan of yours want a suggestion. I know that you're having a big trouble with spin wheel to pick your time to read especially with 10 to whatever hrs that it pick for you. I thought it would be nice if you pick a limited numbers that is more in your comfort. Like it will be nice if you not include 8-10 hrs (more) and just stick to 1-5 or 6hrs. Because I dont like how you should make things hard for yourself. Because reading too much for hours than do a productive life is not healthy. I do hope you should consider this. We dont like to be confined with one thing we like for the rest of the day and regret not doing anything for ourselves. You may not know you will hate reading because of it. We want to enjoy reading and not hate reading. Dont force yourself to make a hard choice for yourself. Be easy because it is a time to enjoy yourself. Have a good day!!❤❤

doing challenges like these really seems like a recipe for book slumps, the way it reduces reading to smth you have to do, no matter how you feel ... especially when at 31:51 she says shes excited to indulge in other hobbies that make her happy ... reading IS a hobby that should make you happy, i think?? idk i just feel like challenges like these (at least from what is shown to us) seems to be cultivating a pretty unhealthy relationship with reading itself, which i dont think is ideal.

bella !! wanted to recommend another danmei to u :) the title is "Guardian: Zhen Hun" by Priest. it's sort of a classic in the genre like i've heard of it before i even knew what danmei even was. it's also more modern/contemporary than the 4 danmeis uve read so far! just note though that the author is known for being more focused on plot than the average danmei author. their romances are pretty background and slow-moving compared to the HEAVYYYY plot, but some of her best really change ur brain chemistry. now that i'm writing this i'm more unsure if you'll like guardian specifically dfgdfgds maybe i'll come back to recommend by favorite Priest work instead if it ever gets licensed 😭😭 i think a danmei u'll Actually like is "Peerless: Wushuang" by Meng Xi Shi. it has the same author as Thousand Autumns so you're probably going to be used to the writing style but in my opinion the romance and plot of this is >>>>>>>>> both books are in the set same world though so there's slight spoilers but not on the actual plot of Thousand Autumns

Hello!!! (Sorry if my english is bad :p) Today is march 26 and I decided to do it haha ​​but maximum 7 hours. 💝 ✨Day 1: 2 hours, continue "Lady Midnight" and "Middlemarch". ✨Day 2: 4 hours, I read some of "Middlemarch", almost finish "Lady Midnighy" (highly recommended) and finished "And then there were none" , It was a 5 🌟read. ✨Day 3: 3hs, I'm happy and sad that it wasn't 7 hahahaha but I hope that eventually it will be since I feel very motivated thanks to this. I finished Lady Midnight (5 🌟)and started the first book of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which it's the May-June reading for the Game of Tomes book club but I needed a break from the current book hahaha I cheated a little. ✨Day 4: 5 hs omg, I've reached 30% of 'The Fellowship of the Ring' and I read 'Treasure Island' (3.5 🌟) in one sitting. ✨Day 5: 2 hs, I've reached 40% of 'Middlemarch, I want to finish already :´( ✨Day 6: 4 hs, I watched your new video and saw that you were given Vinland Saga, and I read omnibus 1. I don't regret it, 5 🌟 . And well, I continued with Middlemarch, it seems endless. ✨Day 7: 1 h, Thanks for the idea, I'm not very motivated lately, my goal was to finish readings I've already started.
