18:18 you do get fury from taking damage and its important to have it on mind (specially when you don't AA much) because when wave clearing you can quickly walk in front of your wave and let the enemy wave hit you first just to quickly stack free fury then heal that little damage by spinning.

The enemy team here was TERRIBLE and all your teammates generally did the right thing. As a silver ~4 player, I frequently play with players who literally don't play Macro whatsoever, don't soak, etc. I don't know what anyone can do to counteract that...

if you are using a melee hero against a ranged, you should simply harrass the other one and keep them away from the soak, if you are the ranged one, you simple dont push the lane if you wanna soak (this is in the solo lane)

So I watch all these videos. And I practice. Soak Denial. Camp timings. Mana management. Good Engagements. Everything. And you know what I get in Storm League? Instalock Butchers & Nazeebos on Braxis or something. Now how do you win that???? And this happens 40% of the time. Then 20% of the time... the other team has a damn smurf who is doing a Bronze to GM challenge (Hey I'm as cool as Fan) stream.... I was a competitive athlete, and I used to hate openings against cream puffs... felt so sorry for them. For the life of me, I can not understand why anyone would find joy in beating up the little kids on the playground. All that said: I've been in stupid Silver for a freaking year. Over 1k games in SL last season. I told my wife: "When I get to Gold, I'm going to uninstall this stupid game, and get my life back." ~~~ but this hell goes on and on. I was within 25 points of Gold 5 two months ago. Then I get an 11 death Illidan on my team. Instantly reQue because I only lost 160 points so another win would secure Gold. The Illidan is on my team again. I say, "Hey, maybe don't first pick Illidan this match because he Is very easily countered if you draft him early." He instalocks Abathur, and walks in a circle around the core the whole game. Then I lose 19 consecutive games...…. Hell is real, and I live it every day in this stupid game ~ and these "How to carry in Silver w/ hero X" vids really are getting old.

Hi NotParadox. Can you point me towards some things I might be doing wrong with this build? For some reason I have a 15% winrate in QM with this build and have been practicing it hard. Can't try storm league cos it's 1000s+ to get a game on Americas server (actually never managed to get a game ever) so often in QM there is no tank or healer. But the enemy also has the same issue so must be something I'm doing wrong.

I like your vids but really not sure about this build. Vs just a Muradin with no other stun I find it extremely difficult to survive more than 5 seconds in a team fight, even with all the talents up to lvl 20. Your video simply portrays how the build does vs the perfect setup.

Played a few times now. Even with wrath, ignore pain, and nerves of steel activated, whirlwinding on 3-4 heroes in team fights and getting deleted within 3-4 seconds. What am I doing wrong? Seems like a trash build.

I think you should continue scalling your elo and commentating what you do in matches. That way, as people climb the ladder, they'll continue to have references as to what to do. Besides, there are few to none high-rank, analitical, HotS content creators. It would be nice to have a reliable one.

I think its definitely doable to make tutorial style videos and gameplay ones like these without sounding super cocky/condescending. That's more of a mentality thing imo. I want to bring something to your attention. I appreciate what you're doing here, trying to teach people what they can do to climb. but, do you not understand that one of the biggest things preventing people like me from climbing out of a rank we shouldn't be in... are smurfs like you while I keep getting put on a team with dumbasses that should definitely be in silver (where I currently am stuck at because the placement games are dumb), I keep getting placed against teams that seem to know what they're doing, too well to be in silver. Alarak players that are actually good, for instance. and sure, I can fight these smurfs, because I can play this game well, but my team mates don't stand a CHANCE, and I can't just go in 1v5 and expect to live, so I wait for them, but of course, then they just can't perform well enough.

Not necessarily. I was stuck in gold for the longest time because of dumb teammates until I actually started getting teams who had the same awareness and knowledge as me and I sky rocketed to diamond 1 over a weekend.
