John Gibbons is a registered Osteopath, Lecturer and Author and is discussing how to assess (and then subsequently manipulate) the spinal motion of the thoracic spine using Dr Lovett (1903) and the laws or principles of Fryette (1918), John also manipulates with a HVT / Grade 5 technique to the thoracic spine. Some of these techniques can be taught but only to skilled therapists and manipulations plus more is taught on the Spinal course at Core Elements in swindon. The technique demonstrated is called a thoracic thrust or an AP thrust, even though it was taught to me as the 'DOG' technique when I trained at Osteopathic School.
