@@nilasarmiento7133 not quite sure right now - i'm very 'scientific', analytical, skeptical.... i need to see the 'evidence'. no one in my family was religious - neither on my mum's (catholic) side - nor on my dad's (orthodox) side. (my grandmother would go to church on occasion and that was about it). religion was simply never a topic, neither at home nor outside, with my friends for example. having said that, i had some minor, let's call them 'unusual' experiences over the last 2 years, that got me to think that there might me something outside this material realm. that also 'pushed' me to start searching for the truth. so yes, right now i'm quite certain that there is a lot more to this world than one can see with a naked eye, and i think i'm on the quest to find out exactly what (i just need to know). whether i will ever find answers - that's another question. having said that, while i am baptised as a catholic, institutionalized religion is not 'my thing', it's not who i am. i don't think that (the form) even matters and i'll explain why i think so (i don't want to offend anyone - i know i'm on the 'wrong' channel for this conversation!). I think that our path to God is through doing the best we can in our daily, ordinary life right here on earth, to care about others, to make life easier and better not just for us and our loved ones - but for everyone else as well - even those we don't like that much, to be loving, kind, to protect those who are weaker and cannot protect themselves (animals included), to stand up for what is right and what is just. Those have been my 'guiding' principles my whole life and i'm sticking by them ;-) i did extend this list of principles though - to include fighting evil. (needless to say, getting in trouble is my middle name) one other note: thank you for your kindness!!! we may have different way of thinking about things, but you (and some other people who commented), have been very respectful and i appreciate that! i care deeply about people - all people (which is what brought me to Father Mark and his ... lectures). i think we are in deep trouble right now. what makes things even more complex is the fact that people across the world are divided in so many ways: religion, race, politics, covid.... i find that in many cases conversations between people from different sides of the divide is simply impossible (with insults flying left and right). we need to find the way to talk to each other.... my sister does say that i tend to 'preach'. than again, i am a sagittarious, it's in my nature ;-) (wrong channel again ???) all joking aside, let's take care of each other - we are stronger together love

The root of the sexual ideologies, short version: there is no truth, everything is subjective, believe what you want. Long version below this:
@raymack87673 жыл бұрын
The root of Critical Race Theory/Critical Theory,, etc what it posits, and how to neutralize it: Concerning objectivity within Critical Theory, Critical Race Theory, Critical Gender Theory, etc: In Robin DiAngelo's (along with Sensoy, Kendi, etc are movers and shakers in CRT) book "Is Everyone Really Equal?", DiAngelo posited: 1.) "All knowledge is taught from a particular perspective; the power of dominant knowledge depends in large part on its presentation as neutral and universal (Kincheloe, 2008)...*all knowledge* understood by humans is framed by the ideologies, language, beliefs, and and customs of human societies. Even the field of science is subjective” (p. 15). 2.) "Our analysis of social justice is based on a school of thought know as Critical Theory. Critical Theory refers to a body of scholarship that examines how society works, and is a tradition that emerged in the early part of the 20th century from a group of scholars at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany [taught there by Marxists]” (p. 25) 3.) "One of the key contributions of critical theorists concerns the production of knowledge…. These scholars argue that a key element of social injustice involves the claim that particular knowledge is objective, neutral, and universal. An approach based on critical theory calls into question the idea that objectivity is desirable or even possible. The term used to describe this way of thinking about knowledge is that knowledge is socially constructed." (p. 29). A.) The foundation for Critical Race Theory, Critical Gender Theory, etc, is Critical Theory from the Frankfurt School primarily, but not limited to it. The central idea posited by Critical Theory is that everything is ideological in nature. Even science (math, chemistry, etc), according to CT, has been affected by human interests. Hume's Guillitone ultimately destroys CT, Marxism, etc, as they cannot develop a metaethical theory that doesn't get crushed by Hume's Guillotine. [Hume's Guillotine stymies them time and again, forcing them to paradoxically seek power over those with whom they disagree.] [H/t to Dagwould.] To CRT, science is also not independent and objectively unaffected from those interests, and there is *essentially no objective knowledge or truth. But CT, CRT, CGT proponents don't possess "all knowledge" to make the claim that all knowledge is ideological and has been affected by human interests; It is a Sweeping Generalization they proffer. As an example, someone subjectively claiming they are "Trans" would also be affected by that person's interests and biases (based upon CT itself) so how do they prove their contentions based upon CT? They can't. B.) The destroyer of the central tenet of CT, CRT, etc, is if even science (math, chemistry, etc) is subjective and affected, then Critical Theory, Critical Race Theory, Critical Gender Theory, etc, must surely also be affected, has also been shaped by human interests, and does not stand objectively independent from those interests. C.) Thus the conclusions from, and what is posited by, Critical Theory are erroneous. They cannot say that all objectivity or knowledge is equal but that some is more equal than others as even that idea would be subject to the conditions in B and they don't know "all" or possess "all knowledge" to make those claims. D.) Thus in order for CT, CRT, CGT, etc, to bolster their contentions in A, they must transcend the confines of A and B and thus prove that A is true. Given what they assert, as contained in A (and 1-3), the burden of proof is upon them. According to CRT, CT and CGT, objectivity isn't real and everything is subjective. Objectivity: essentially the quality of information is true no matter who perceives it. If objectivity isn't true then what a person perceives can only be true to that person and no universal experiences are possible, but CRT though claims racism is a universal truth, that x, y, and z are racist, that they know for everyone else what is or isn't racist, setting up parameters for everyone else while simultaneously wanting no fetters placed upon them. But if they tell me objectivity isn't real or trustworthy, why should I believe anything that DiAngelo or those like her say? In short if there is no truth, that truth is essentially subjective, etc, then why should I believe anything that CT, CRT, or CGT proponents posit or proffer as being true?

Growing up in this generation or known as Gen Z, there are many ideologies from: sex before marriage, self-love that is selfish and subjective towards the care more directed to the self than to others, cohabitation, there are more than 2 genders, cursing is okay, using God's name in vain is okay, being Catholic/religious is too restrictive, twerking and sexualized poses is praiseworthy, not telling the truth especially when it hurts is " loving", etc. I am 19 years old as of now, and I can say that it is ultimately by God's grace that has revealed to me the depths' of havoc caused from these acts/orthodoxy to keep me enlightened and protected to spread beliefs of disapproval and condemnation of these acts. Awesome to hear you are becoming Catholic Rob. I'm a revert & especially since I've been going to a traditional parish (Mass in Latin), & heard traditional & meaty sermons as well as meeting true Orthodox Catholics, my faith has increased exponentially. My life as a traditional Catholic is SO exciting! God bless you on your way to the One, Holy & Apostolic church founded by Jesus Christ!

Not a Catholic, but respect the Church, I love these messages as I respect the Fathers sincerity and the truth of his message. I seek truth through leadership that will not wilt or kowtow to the secular influences that threaten Christianity today. We are not to exalt man above the sound teaching of Christ. "Viva Christo Rey." And thank you.

Well in the Roman Catholic Church and Priest has to conform to the Pope's teachings, if not he's a bad priest. We believe the Church is guided by the Holy Spirit. If a priest goes against what Christ's Vicar has appointed ,he's rebelling and rejecting the Holy Spirit as final authority of the Church. 💖✌
@garywhaley87903 жыл бұрын
@@godisinchargesueowl8599 What has gained my interest in the Catholic Church is what I have been hearing from many leaders in the church who do not hold to re-interpreting Scripture to suit the worldly needs and desires of those whom have itching ears and want to "buck" the teachings of Scripture. Jesus confronted the Sanhedrin of his time and accused them of being sons of the devil. So if there is dissension within the hierarchy as I have seen and heard in regards to abortion, same sex marriage, and the most recent gender appropriations as a man who thinks she is a woman, and vice versa, there is something not quite normal about this and the church whether Catholic or Protestant should not conform with any doctrine that goes against Scripture. As the good father suggests it takes bold leadership to stand up and say, "this is not right," and we must do something under heaven to correct this, otherwise the blind will continue to lead the blind.
@godisinchargesueowl85993 жыл бұрын
@@garywhaley8790 His Holiness Pope Francis has urged us to focus on Scripture. Though belief in God cannot be forced or imposed. God gave man Freewill, it must be respected. One either believes or doesn't. Please watch Fr Terrance from the Franciscan Friars channel :Modernists & Tradionalists vs Christ . Todays video There must be balance as Pope Francis presses on very much . Extremism leads to hatred and brutality as much as leniency leads to the worst excesses . God bless 💖

I agree with everything you say Mark. I'm not a catholic but I am a christian and the church I was baptised in is more interested in woke, social justice, the environment and pandering to people where the bible is clear on condemning their lifestyles. I mean the Bishops and priests, when the Bishops are on TV it's not to praise Jesus but to preach about climate change. God bless you Fr Mark and god give you the strength and tools to carry out your work, Amen.

Mark here are notes of your homily, “We hear in the Gospel today, that we are gathered to Become One. The Catholic Church is being Divided just like the Denominations of other churches...Mainly over Sexual Ideology! I’m Not bowing down or giving in to this Ideology! Like St. John the Baptist, who got his head chopped off- I too will die for my Faith! Our kids don’t need confusing messages, our seminaries, our Church Needs to Speak Up and Not Bow Down to the Spirit of The Age! I’m ready to Die for my Faith! Are You? Let’s Spend Eternity in Heaven and Bring others with Us Too!” Amen! 😊💖💙🕊🔥🌼✝️

I was educated by the De La Salle Christian Brothers from grade school through college and have never strayed from the Catholic faith. We need more brave priests like you who stand up for the doctrines of the Catholic Church as given by Jesus to Peter and handed down to us. You are great ! One last comment.... the world should remember .... God created man and woman, NOT transformers nor reversibles. Viva Cristo Rey !!!! Art
