The SpinFit TwinBlade is a line of double-flange ear tips released in 2017. Similar to the original, the TwinBlade can change orientation as you insert them into your ears. But interestingly, the models don't seem to be talked about as much as the original. So curious as ever, I picked these up while on discount to see for myself whether they are good enough to be considered upgrades to the original.

For people asking for ear tip recommendation, you have to tell me what kind of improvement you want, and MOST IMPORTANTLY the diameter of the nozzle where the ear tip goes. Thanks for the comments and support

Thanks for the review as Spinfit website is diabolical. I have one burning question, sorry I know it's been 3 years. I'm sick and tired of having to use both hands to fit my current cheap flanged ear buds which flex like hell. How rigid is the sound pipe of the Spinfit earbuds as I'd like to be able to fit earbuds one handed so that they slide into the ear canal without bending too easily.

The spinfit ones are a little bit rigid so no worry there tho they are expensive lol for one pair.
@EarphoneusFanaticus
@EarphoneusFanaticus 3 жыл бұрын
Being able to bend is kind of what these tips are supposed to do... but if you are asking how easy it is to get a perfect seal with just one hand, I would say it depends on what SpinFit model you try. All TwinBlades are hard to fit, while CP100 and 145 are both very easy. CP155 is very pointy so a little difficult, while for CP500 I like a shallow fit. For more details on those you can check out my video called 'The Art of Tip Rolling' :)

Never tried this one but from pictures it seems the sound tube is extremely big on it. That means only the CP230 would fit. The new CP155 is designed for wide sound tube as well, so if you prefer single flange tips you should get those instead.

Wide nozzle IEMs benefit most from accompanying wide bore eartips. You should consider the CP230s.

Maybe you should a video about tips in workout mode. I notice that when I work out the air pressure makes the light and shot tips to get loose. Then the sweat makes it loose even more to the point bass is gone. Then I need to press more inside,but I can't because it stops there with the case touching my ear. I broke 3 wires because of pressing inside. Then I get the tip with sleeves and I notice that 3 sleeves are perfect but they loose the bass that bounces because they not big enough and are small the last sleeve. Then with 2 is better for sound but still short. They should do 2 sleeves but lingers. Then the new earphones they have thebpipe facing 40% degrees up when they should be frontal .I did have the Sony xba and was perfect. Straight and double sleep fits and never gets lost in the gym. With shure. 535.sein e 40 and many more I cant get a clear long passage on my ear canal . Worst on the left side. Now I order the syst 2 xr . They long and triple or double sleave.lets see easy to get a perfect tone when I am in the sun bed. But in the gym I spend more than 3000 dollars in earphones that non works apart from the Sony that I broke .

I like the original ones in the 145s for my kzs and ccas and the 100s for my Klipsch and shures. I prefer them to the comply a bit mostly because they give a snugger fit while not uncomfortable and noise isolation is less a concern then comfort also bass is a bit less muffled. Plus they some how look really good on shure se535s in the reds with the Asian models gray color.

Ordered my KZ ZSN Pros, people said KZ stock tips are not the best so I'm planning to get the CP100 medium to replace the stock tips and I'm hoping SpinFits would serve me well since they are priced half of my IEMs ._.

@Chomusuke Bummer, I already ordered both the ZSN Pros and the CP100 though, hopefully they'll be a good long-lasting pair for me. I'll be using them with a smartphone alone, I'm not that big on audio gear... yet, but thanks for the advice, I might look for other brands in the future too. I'm just glad KZ is at a cheaper side since I can't afford more expensive models with my college budget at the moment.

CP100 tends to stick quite deeply into the ear canal. Maybe need to try a smaller size first? May I ask what foam tips you used with your ZS10? It's not just the material, but also the inner diameter and length that can all slightly affect how your earphone will sound.

Just bought Spinfit cp240, for my Blon Bl03. Sadly the bass was terribly reduced. The problem with these things- there’s no trial. Have to rely on reviews from user so learn from my mistakes.. just follow where the herd is going.

@@user-ik8wd9vm7r Hi!, sorry haven’t tried any so far. Been using Blon for only abt a week. I agree, sounds really good.. good to the point that I was able to detect something wrong with the bass after trying CP240 large, costs $13 where I live. Good fit but the sound worsened. I’m tempted to get its medium size but afraid that would get same bad sound. Prior to this, I tried soft ear foam by Comply borrowed from my other wireless earbuds. Unfortunately it was short tip design. So far, the best useable ear tips for me is the stock but the Large size. But definitely will still hunt for third party like Final audio, etc. Will keep you posted in future. Btw, any cable recommendations? thanks

@@onzkicg If the BL-03 has the same stock tips as the BL-01, then yeah I agree they are quite terrible... too stiff and seal is not the best. Is there any specific audio changes you are after? If you want something that seals well, has a softer flange, keeps the bass (or make it even stronger) and want a bit better sound texturing but does not mind losing a bit of the soundstage height, the new CP100 might be what you want.
@EarphoneusFanaticus
@EarphoneusFanaticus 3 жыл бұрын
Also yes basically all the double-flange SpinFit are bad compared to their single flange ones. CP220, 230, 240... none of them seals well and are hard to get comfortable with. Funny thing is SpinFit actually sent me the 240 and unfortunately I still had to bash them because they are still kinda garbage in my mind. They didn't get mad though, good sport.

Safest bet is the CP100. It's more comfortable and tends to seal better. Don't know if it would fit your earphone though, can you measure the diameter of the sound tube? I might be able to tell you whether the CP100 would fit.

Never tried that particular model before, but I think CP100 is probably the safest bet. It is the most comfortable one, and it never ruins the sound. However if you find the bass to be too much on your earphone already, I would get the CP220/230 instead, depending on the diameter of the sound tube.

Will try them out if I can buy them separately. But generally if the tip isn't too pointy (like more rounded) and has a small opening, it should be able to reduce treble which means less sibilance.

@@johnpeter4186 Probably JVC Spiral Dots. It fits short and is very rounded, and with its large opening, sounds tend to be not as intense. Comply might be worth a try as well. I usually find it to remove the rough edges in the higher mids-lower treble region.

@EarphoneusFanaticus
@EarphoneusFanaticus 6 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply! I can, but don't think it would be necessary. Both the CP100Z and CP350 are designed for wireless earphones which I don't have. The CP155 is essentially the same as the CP100 but designed for larger sound tubes (similar to the usage scenario of the CP230). The only interesting one would be the CP145, but it still looks very much like the CP100 but pointier. So, I would expect all these new tips to sound pretty much like the CP100 except the awkward CP350.
