Happy to see you back on. I really enjoy your content. But there was way too little interaction with the locals. The minivan was all for you, so more like a private taxi, and I'm sure you also paid for some of the spare seats. You also could have asked some of the locals to borrow or rent their bike to go there, if no one else wanted to take a van there at the time you were. Actually this video felt like way less exciting than an average off the grid backpacking in very easy South East Asia. Don't schedule your slots too tight and take your time. Maybe you've got some more interesting videos from there. I'm used to much better grim you.

i actually have a reason to believe that he did NOT fly out of slovakia. he lives in bratislava, the capital, but it is also 50 minutes away from Vienna, which is why the airport sign is in German. that’s just my theory though

Crossing the International Date Line on a flight is definitely surreal! Going all the way to a random place in the Marshall Islands to see a flooded basketball court just because the all-powerful ChatGPT told you to...well played, sir! Oceania is such beautiful and underrated region and this is the kind of content that it deserves! Hope you get to do a true visit to Hawaii though because it's definitely a special place. The most interesting place in the Marshall Islands has gotta be Enewetak. Enewetak became the site of many American nuclear tests during the Cold War. Because of all of them, the US built a concrete dome in Enewetak to deposit radioactive soil. Those who worked on it got cancer, and the dome today is deteriorating because it's so old. Which causes the radiation to seep out, leaving the islanders exposed. Also, the US gov didn't even evacuate all the islanders before testing. Those who were on nearby islands had to face "snow" from the fallout of the Castle Bravo test. It took the Gov days to evacuate them. When the US evacuated those living on Bikini Atoll, another part of the Marshall Islands, they received ZERO compensation.

This could be an idea for the next time to make the videos even more unpredictable. After you spin the 2 wheels, someone else has to give you a photo of a location in that country. You aren't allowed to use the internet to search for it, but you have to find the place within a certain time limit (let's say: max 3 days after touch down). It would become even more surreal if you manage to find that location without using internet, but only the help from the locals.

I have taken that van to Laura. Can confirm it is just as confusing as he makes it sound. No signs, schedules, or any other information. It comes when it comes, and hopefully you’re in the right van. Totally worth the trip though! Laura beach was great, and the Marshallese are super friendly.
