Spinning of the Hotpoint Hydrowave and the Kenmore Direct Drive

Always cool to see how the hydro wave ramps up to speed. It has like 3 speeds before going to it's final/fastest spin speed.

The Hotpoint and the Direct Drive I believe were both exposed outdoors since most houses in Puerto Rico have the Laundries outside. For the Hotpoint in particular, it has been exposed outdoors without a roof since 2015. Very impressived that it even survived a category 5 hurricane back in 2017. I don't know how it was for the Kenmore, but the thing that I know is that it was tossed out in the trash from a neighbor house in 2020, and I brought it to my Grandmother's house cause she used to have a GE HE Front Load washer from 2015 that failed in 2019 due to a fried control board. The Hotpoint came in September 2022 to my Grandmother's house because my mon used to live in a rental house in Puerto Rico, and she moved to Florida. Lastly, we also bought a Used Maytag Direct Drive in new-like conditions for our home in Florida.
