I've been on a spinning bender. I've clocked up over 6km of 2 ply yarn in the past month. It's all I want to do with my time. It's hard to explain to the non-spinning public. Friends ask me what I'm making with it all and tell them it is already 'made'. Great content Georgia; entertaining, witty and intelligent. Thanks for the time you invest.

Thank you for sharing your (almost!) experiments in woolen drafting! My default spin is fairly woolen- I find it very zippy and fun- but it is always so interesting to hear other spinners defaults & experiences. Do you have a copy of the fleece and fiber sourcebook? I use it to ID all my mystery animal fibers- not an overrated resource at all if you prefer spinning alpaca, wools, mohair, and luxury fibers like yak, camel, etc
