Man that whole little dino line ROCKS!! Hits HARD and looks great! Pyro Diablo always brings it!! Tina does have some nice stuff at Hooksett! Nice comparison!! I have been preaching about GOOD 200g cakes for ages now and this is a great visual to what I have been talking about!

Awesome! I really tried the split screen on a whim but I love how it came out. I don't have a ton of plans for other comparisons just yet but now that I know it works...🤔. The Dino series from pyro Diablo is great , we shot them last April at goldfields. I really like the Dino series and I think they purposely use less lift powder and more burst comp to give that incredible break much closer to the ground which makes the bang and breaks that much more robust for the audience. Loved the side by side comparison and you know me I would definitely send up 4 or more of the 200 gram cakes for a much bigger effect. Great demo pyro

I didn't mention it in the video but I definitely noticed the lower breaks. I had this cake in mind when I was talking about fire safety back on the T-800 video as several of the stars did make it into the grass. But so worth it! When we were doing this shoot, I actually was pretty disappointed by Willow Nation, which I shot several cakes later, because Spinosaurus was so much better. It's like going to a concert where the opening act is better than the headliner! (I've experienced this too). Glad you enjoyed the side by side comparison. It was fun to put together and I'm really happy with how it turned out. While I don't currently have a lot of demos recorded with this in mind, I'm definitely going to do it again. @ oh yeah, it should be a good case price on those and by the way, just let you know I think elite and also Hoookset have the assortment power Diablo. I think it’s called Jurassic Park assortment something like that where they have all the dinosaur cakes plus the 200 game cakes and two 500 cakes also just the 20g assortment to just letting ya know if you don’t wanna buy one of the same thing it’s good and Ely elite definitely has it. Hoookset might have it but if you look around, I’m sure places got it.

Pyro Diablo never disappoints. They clearly value quality over quantity. This is not the first time I’ve seen one of the Dino line cakes outperform a 500g.

You really cant go wrong with about 95% of what badaboom puts out. The dinosaur cakes are amazing. Did you happen to pick up any hardcore pyro while you were at hooksett? They have some nice 200g from them as well. Side note: one thing i want to compare that they have at hooksett is the howling commandos against the howling burst rockets from pyro diablo id be interested to see which one is better. I also been meaning to try the triple screamin demon rockets as well.

I actually wound up leaving a lot of stuff I'd originally wanted behind at Hookset 😢. Long story short, I'd just spent a lot at Elite and was feeling a bit of wallet shock before we even got there. That said, Tina is super nice and I really liked the store. I can make it there in about 3 1/2 hours and have been mulling over making a one off run while the boys are in school someday. Glad you liked the side by side comparison. I did it kind of spur of the moment so I don't have a lot of specific stuff planned for more just yet but it was really fun to do and I'll definitely be putting up more eventually. Thanks again for watching and sending the great comments! You've got some great insights and I look forward to hearing them. (I'll definitely be looking for those rockets next time I'm in NH)!

The "win" goes to Spinosaurus because it consistently delivered whereas Willow Nation did not AND because it offered a better price performance point in doing so. So yes, I would probably buy Spino and use it as opposed to WN. I don't think however that I would run 4 Spino back to back. Too repetitive. Instead I would blend it in with some other 200g cakes - perhaps as part of an opening cluster. Reflecting on it further, perhaps the "optimal solution" would be a new cake entirely swapping in the 9 shots from Spino to replace the first 9 shots in WN. And yes - I like the split screen comps.

Hmmm... I haven't tried cutting apart my cakes yet but I like the idea. 603 Pyro is quite adept at that and he's made some really good "Frankensteins". There's another great cake from Winda, Fish Tank, that also has astounding willows at the end that I've dreamed about splicing... That'll have to wait until next season though as I need the tent to return before I can get more. Thanks again for watching! It's always great to hear from you.

Not sure if you were tuning into my channel way back then but I did post a video (in the wrong aspect ratio, I was still learning the editing app). Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! I'll be working on Thursday, preparing the holiday meal for the staff at the hospital where I work as chef 🧑‍🍳 but am planning on celebrating with my family on Saturday.
