This is so boring ! The animation is always the same and over all the predator wins always and this is annoying. Or should be much better if herbivores are abble to escape. The hunt in this game needs more uncertainty and random for make it's more realistic and more exciting and fun !

I completely agree! no, but, do IRL predators kill their prey each time? no. In addition, as you point out, it is annoying to die, the end is predictable and it prevents us from creating a "realistic" biome since as the prey die each time, it is necessary to operate the incubators to prevent the population do not fall. Well, first of all Spinosaurus wouldnt even try to fight them as they were piscivores, they only used their claws for defense and spend most of their days hunting small marine creatures, and if they were to fight many Hardosaurs would actually severy hurt or even kill a Spino, some of them are Edmontosaurus and Shantungosaurus due to their sheer size, but as i said the fight wouldnt even have happened

What is a Hadrosaur suppose to do against a carnivore this size? Hadrosaurs have no real line of body defense to combat with dinosaurs like Spinosaurus. That's why they stay in large herds....so they can look out for predators and then run away as quick as possible.

@@turkeygod6665 Exactly....but still technically they do run away, but only when the animation isn't activated. Really was hoping for Frontier to give us a Christmas present that we could hype over....something like a chase sequence for the carnivores to chase the herbivores, but we still received damaged goods. Well there isn't much to confirm in the fossil records that Hadrosaurs fought back against their carnivorous counterparts, in rare occasions sure it happened, but for the most part all Hadrosaurs weren't designed for fighting they lost that part of their feature about 113 million years when they began socializing more and developing ways to improve their identity. It's probably why their crests started to appear because of that reason. In short (if you get the reference)....hadrosaurs are like the Yamchas of the Mesozoic world.

GamingBeaver is pretty much ignorant on his dinosaur knowledge. I wouldn't go to him for any dinosaur information because in his recent video he wasn't too entirely sure if Allosaurus and Utahraptor were from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods respectively. Iguanodon is, like its name, an Iguanodont....all Iguanodonts had low snouts, crestless heads, large builds and highly dexterous hands with thumb claws, something all Hadrosaurs lack. True hadrosaurs didn't evolve until some 50 million years later about 80 million years ago after Iguanodon went extinct. Around 90 million years ago the Hadrosauriformes first evolved, these dinosaurs, like Muttaburrasaurus, were the transition between the Iguanodonts and true Hadrosaurs.
