@@SD1ONE So it'll be Ford VS C-256 then? Because the Chevy should easily lose in anything remotely off road related, the Chevy sucks on any slight bit of dirt. Not sure but the Ford might even be faster on road. Either way I expect the Ford to win, it's a powerful and somewhat heavy truck. The Chevy is to light and has very little grip to the drive wheels.

@@tjelements1517 I never said he couldn't do it. However I've driven both, and I've very certain that the Ford will beat the Chevy and move on to the C256. I'm not certain on the speed, the Chevy may or may not win the speed race, I'm not sure. But other then speed, I predict the Ford to beat the Chevy in just about everything else. The Chevy has to be the worst one out of the 4 new semi's, it's so back off road especially without a load. Even hauling a trailer it's bad. Unless you have something like a fuel tank or short logs putting weight directly on the bad of the truck, then the Chevy otherwise has next to no grip on dirt. So SD1ONE can run his test, I'm not stopping him. But after driving both, I predict the Ford beats the Chevy.

Well, in real life, uaz is much better than the f150, because it was designed to the army, and in russia, the terrain is swampy, muddy, and there is a lot of water with mud! The F150 is much faster than the uaz, but its worse on offroad!

I just played with the D-538 from the ridge DLC for the first time on the base game scavenge map. it really disappointed me, that thing lacks power... on some decent hills it would just bog down without even spinning the wheels, it seems to have a lot of traction but lacks torque, especially in the lower rpm's. it took me a lot of steering and patience to get that thing up the hill, it only had a medium log trailer behind it... and this was on a normal muddy hill, not even a hard dirt or paved track. those logs don't even put any weight on the machine that could cause any more traction.... and stil no wheel spin... i think some of the other base game trucks like the Kraz would have no problem on this, while drinking a lot less fuel and still having a log crane for scavenge... You did not really test that in the best offroad tractor video, maybe you should include a hill climb with trailer on new video's to test the vehicles torque and pulling power?

Well ther is no high or low range in this game. When you move the gearstick to the up-left position, you shift the first gear only. The three white rectangulars indicate how much throttle you give to the engine, thus this is how you control it. Why do I point this out? When you put the gearstick to manual reverse, you still have those three white rectangulars, but none of the vehicles have three reverse gears.

Hmmm, way I see it is that the UAZ is smaller and more nimble, making it better suited to going between trees and avoiding obstacles. The Ford is more muscly, better suited to just about everything and can probably equip more repair and refuel points, making it more of a very light utility vehicle. UAZ for scouting tight paths and forests, Ford for quicker scouting and resupply. If the Ford can be recalled then it's just about better overall, but if it can't then it's advised to keep around a UAZ. On the bright side, the UAZ can be considered a "challenge" vehicle since it's "worse", but not cripplingly useless like the dinky little car with the forgettable name.

I do like the C-375 truck as a scout eehThe bigg car ;) It's agile and smooth to drive, yes, of course, it has a higher fuel consumption than a car dhu! but not by that much though. the UAZ wants 2-4L/min and that truck slurps 4-12 and it's 6X6 with good traction. So I like that one. The biggest downside I guess is that it isn't recallable, that would've been awfully nice.
