Dear Sir, Yet another original coffee table using contemporary fittings & old wood that really does contrast very well. The C.N.C design gives a modern look & the finish just highlight the beauty of years gone by. One wonmders what could be achieved using just an oiled finish to such a finely sanded essence.? At any rate it's absolutely delightful. Very well done Sir. Kind regards.

As a woodworker myself I have been a fan of yours since I found you. But it seems you are more interested in film making now. This makes for some awesome shots and closeups, but I can hardly see the work itself. This seems to be popular now, but I miss a straight build video.
@SpecialWorks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you, that makes me very happy. I do not understand exactly what you do not see in the building or feel as change. Basically genomen nothing has changed from the structural to my older videos ... The projects are only cool filmed and was cut more appropriate to the music. But the individual steps have remained absolutely the same and the craft still refined a lot as far as the quality of the project. The viedeos are second to me. The projects are most important to me and the quality is at a high level. That I give myself more trouble with the videos is only because I want to perfect my entire performance so that the video synonymous to the project perfectly about a right.
@RossNanfito5 жыл бұрын
@@SpecialWorks Let me clarify...I am not saying 'your' videos on your channel have changed to this effect. I am saying videos by woodworkers in general available on KZbin have changed and swung in this direction. It's ok, life changes according to what people want to see or want to offer. I just think the style is not for me. A close up in low light is awesome to look at, but does nothing for me in examining the wood or the piece, learning about your processes or getting a good look at the the wood or the tools used or even your shop layout and set up (and I mean shop layout and setup 'while in use', not in a shop tour-which mostly suck). For example, even in your final shots, while stunning visually, only for a extremely brief few seconds is the entire piece framed completely in the shot. It's like a car commercial that offers almost completely in-your-face-closeups of ...the bumper. Just my opinion. In the end you put out good work when you build something and that is what really matters. Thanks.
@SpecialWorks5 жыл бұрын
@@RossNanfito Basically, you understood it correctly. I do not do tutorials or instructions for specific craftsmen. I use youtube as my own advertising for my craft. these videos are intended for new customers and this works well and if this craftsman feel addressed this is of course good. without talking and my thoughts only in video recordings to present so that everyone understands what I thought it is impossible and I do not want synonymous. in this style as I make and edit my videos is a very complex procedure. I film with intention in the dark so that the audience is only focused on the project and not on the surrounding. and one reason is because it just wants to make all craftsmen equal I do not belong to it I want to have my own line and my own recollection. Thank you for your opinion, I will definitely remember if I implement it, I do not know.

Usually watch these videos to see the work being done and what’s happening. Couldn’t see a damn thing with the darkness and artsy ness of this video.
@SpecialWorks5 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry I can not help you with that, you can at most make your screen brighter or where you have the video looked. Everyone else liked and they could see everything well. It is not artificial, it is not animations but sequences recorded live at work.

Firstly... Great work. I really like your designs. I have just discovered your videos (initially the hexagon coffee table) and have just watched four of them. I like the style and appreciate the effort you put into the production level of your videos.... BUT... I would love to see the finished product or even build images/shots in a way that the detail of your work is more clearly displayed. The final display lighting is not quite right eg, board room/dining table and this spiral coffee table have too much outside light and reflection to clearly see the detail. The image moves/pans so much that I have to pause the video to see the job (and settle my stomach). I feel that the comment made further down this page by "Wood by Ross Nanfito" ("while stunning visually, only for an extremely brief few seconds is the entire piece framed completely in the shot. It's like a car commercial that offers almost completely in-your-face-closeups of ...the bumper.") is a fair and accurate assessment. Good luck and keep up the great builds. I just hope I get to see them clearly.
