Long-string levitation wand is like playing Cat's Cradle with your hands and body for that matter - She is very careful about how, where, when, and how many times it wraps around her body and does it effortlessly - VERY well done - I've been spinning levitation wands for over 2 years now and this is the video that originally got me into it. OHMYGOD! What an amazing place to flow!! I just got back from IgNight Conference, where after 2 years... I finally had my light up ceremony. Looks like we have several amazing friends in common! Felix is my first staff teacher, and got to light me, and I took the most incredible contact staff dance class with Aileen! Burning Man was transformative, but this is a whole new level!! Hi Corinne...I'm wearing Walkman headphones by Sony. They were about $70 (a couple years ago) and hold 2GB music. They have some design flaws but, overall, are pretty darn awesome for wire-free movement practice.

When I instruct people, I encourage them to start learning with a short string wand, just to get the hang of maintaining it's balance and working with basic movements closer to the body. If you're thinking of buying some wands, I'd recommend getting 2, one regular and one long string, and some additional packets of string, as it's nice to have one to share and to not have to re-string your own when transitioning to long string wand. Hi...thanks! The string doesn't bother me when it's around my neck with the regular practice wand from Flowtoys. When I'm using a fire wand or LED wand- which are heavier- then the string does become more abrasive. As a dancer and a juggling artist I recommend you that you work on your dinamic. It's nice how it flows around you but it gets boring after a short while. Have breaks instead of having all the time the same circular movements. Peace
